I am using Oracle VM for Vici installation, every time I try to build up connection the debugging in vicidial says status=unreachable, I have used local ip, public ip, connecting with credentials, checked firewall status and every other thing, to build up the connection between twilio and vici, do i must have to host vicidial on digital ocean/or any other cloud plateform?
@AliShan-vd3qn Hi! No, it can work on your local VM if you have a static public IP or proper NAT settings. However, installing on cloud providers like DigitalOcean is easier since you avoid networking issues. You can use any provider, but with DigitalOcean, you can follow the setup guide here: www.patreon.com/posts/installing-11-on-92601796. For DigitalOcean pricing, check this link: m.do.co/c/fbdbc4af4eaf. If you know how to install from scratch, the provider doesn’t matter much.

Is the CIDR IP address that you entered at 2:38 in the video for your server the local IP or some other outside IP?
Its my vicidial server ip address. Any ip address that sip invites comes from should be here
