Sometimes a standard box blades is too much to operate for some folks. Best to stick with simple attachments if you're not comfortable with using attachments with multiple/combination settings.
Good video. I think you can adjust most 3 point attachments to "float" a little better but the pull type, by design, does all the floating you'll need. Very nice job, nice tractor too!
A standard 3 point box blade will float also if you adjust it to do so on the hydraulics of the tractor. Nice setup you got there. Thanks for the video.
Great video- did a conversion of a box scraper to a pull behind tool like this for a 45hp Bobcat tractor- can be seen on DotyBirdBuilds. Pretty sure there is not a float function on the 3pt on my newer Bobcat Tractor.
@gausaleengarage7076 the arms go up and down with the grade if that is the mode you choose. All of my tractors have done that so I assumed they all did it.
It's by Cammond, I picked this one up used, I can't remember what I paid, it was pricey but worth every penny! Check them out on CammondLLC.com under drag scrapers.

Also basic physics come into play and need the right(easier) tool for the job ;)

To an extent, yes. This design takes the thinking out!!

But.... It will then travel with the tractor where this is independent of the tractor's suspension.

Thanks for the info, I'll go check it out!!
Even my ancient Ford tractor offers two 3-point modes so it can have constant draft or move up and down with grade.
Please share, never seen a 3pt that didn't move with frame of tractor!?

That’s really cool. I’m going to look into that style box blade when I get my tractor. Thanks for the vid!
They are hard to come by, I will try and get another video of me doing neighbors driveway with 57 rock, it was the cats meow!!!
Thanks for the video. Who makes that attachment and what does it cost?

You would get a much better job if you would slow the tractor down.
That's what happens when you drink too many energy drinks and pour race fuel in the tractor 😂
Would have watched the whole video if it had not been so glitchy. 😥
Yeah, sorry I'm no professional, just held my phone. When I run it next I'll see if I can get a mount!
Hello!!
