I remember VHS tapes and the lines at the bottom. But to see these iconic stars of the past, and in bloopers, *which I love* is awesome. Thanks for sharing these antonzap.
I wish we could see that scene after the Big Lunch of Baked Beans. That would be a funny blooper to watch. All dead cowboys and indians just laughing at the sound of "beans."
I kept wanting to go to my VCR to adjust it. Most of my VCRs didn't have it on the remote. ...and I still have my recording of this same show and a few other specials.
When the actors say their lines, going on and a bleep, and then they laugh without the viewer knowing what was so funny, I think they're scraping the bottom of the blooper barrel.
you can't have four-letter swear words said on network television (especially back in the '80s)...and anybody with a functioning brain cell knows, or at the very least can have an educated guess, what the bleeped word(s) is
+antonzap How is he a hack? Dick single-handedly picked Ryan to be his heir apparent on New Year's Rockin' Eve and look now, he's doing a fantastic job. No doubt him and a co-host, if certain, would do a great job if Bloopers and Practical Jokes comes back.
Yeah, I gotta agree with antonzap, dude. Seacrest may have been the apparent heir to New Year's Rockin' Eve, but judging from everything else he's done, he wouldn't mesh well with a show like Bloopers. His style (or lack thereof to many) just isn't right for a show like this that carries comedic tones. Besides, I'm getting sick of seeing him host shows myself. He wouldn't be my first choice to host a show like Bloopers and Practical Jokes but it would beat having to go with Billy Bush as host.
"Dedicated to the memory of Kermit Schafer." A good 90% of the bloopers on those old Schafer albums were either re-created or outright fabricated. Fuck that.
The blooper from McHale's Navy was super funny, even Tim Conway broke character.

The clown and the snake: "Are you excited to see me or is that a snake in your pants?"

"I'm sorry to disturb you at an hour like this but this a blue alergency emert." 🤪
It's a good thing he didn't swallow the whistle.
Ira Joe Fisher; hadn't thought of him, in decades('70s Spokane t.v.; P.M. Magazine. "I have no idea what's next."). I see he, still, is going strong!
I had a spit take and about choked to death on the last clips with Peter Sellers.

Talk About Staying in Character Willy The Whistle was Terrifying
so the saying that ?is that a snake in your pants or are you very happy to see me" came from here?
23:54 As someone who used to play the violin (5th-7th grades back in school) I can relate to his problem. I broke quite a few E-strings on my violin.
20 minutes of material stretched out in length with pointless fillers, titles and introductions
ALL IS MISSING IS BLOOPER SHOW #1 #2 #3 #7

Showing my age here, but I kept reaching for the tracking adjust on my remote...

Let's bring the show back with Ryan Styles as host.
Who's Ryan Styles? I've never heard of him.
The one with the clown gives new meaning to the term "trouser snake."

It's because they swore

A cheap and unnecessary imitation of the British 'Alright on the Night'..........

Which string breaks the most often? Just curious.
