1998 Compaq Presario 2510 running Windows 98

- My Compaq Presario 2510 from 1998...AMD K6 3D running at 300 MHz, 48 MB of RAM , 2 MB S3 Virge,and the factory install of Windows 98 First Edition, one of those ones that can only be upgraded to 64 MB Pretty slow but working on cleaning it up and/or finding the recovery cd. I will do a more in depth video of this sometime, but i do not have the time for it
I had a computer so similar to this one, as a kid, in the late 90s!! Only the tower was separate from the monitor and the whole thing was beige, and not white or grey, in color.
This was my first computer! It also had 48MB Ram(16mb of ram on board and one slot with 32mb) The AMD K6-2 played all the sim city titles(sim copter, street of sim city, Half Life, UT, SODA off road racing, and ripped MP3s. The HD died after a year, took it to Tandy services who handled the RMAs for radio shack, they upgraded me to a 10GB hard drive up from 2GB (i think). Well that's my nostalgia rant, the sleep button was so ahead of its time!!! jk. Great vid man, Thanks :-)
Sam Barrett it was my first too! Mine had win 98se, 10gb hard drive, intel pentium II, 256 processor and and possibly 512 ram. Or reverse that. It’s been a long time. Used that thing for at least 5 years. My ex is a computer guy so we were always upgrading.
If you're ever interested in selling this, I would be interested in buying it. It was my second computer and holds a lot of nostalgic value to me.

OOOHHH MY GOD your voice got so deep. I remember in your 2012 videos you sounded like a kid, boy times have changed. Great computer! $10 is a nice price for one of these. I love it. Is your brother "MrRollercoaster" still around? I also noticed a classic pepsi can behind those sticks of RAM. :P

Luke Junker I love rollercoaster tycoon. You should check out openrct2.org Its rollercoaster tycoon 2 for modern computers but with yes online multiplayer and cheats.

Well... It's definitely a collector's brand nowadays, but I agree, they were probably best with the DeskPro EN than anything.
