Lowkey, I hope it's just cutscenes and boss fights. The adventure mode portion was the weakest part just because of how slow the characters walked. I wouldn't wanna replay that 4 times over.

Theres also the ultimate only characters for some reason like the 7 ninja swordmen, Hyuga Clan head and even those 2 Jonin that help Asuma that can work as a Pain like character😂

That's if they improve the online experience, which they've always failed to do. We've been playing the same online since storm 2 and that's extremely pathetic. Masking the game with just new characters and an expanded story for the 100th time isn't going to revive Storm's online community back.

For anyone who didn't use to play the storm series: naruto storm franchise always release an in between game after and before a major title, for example: naruto storm generation was the naruto storm 2.5 , naruto storm revolution was the naruto storm 3.5 and from what I can see, naruto storm connection will be the naruto storm 4.5 so this is not a storm 5 at all.
This trailer is confusing cuz from the looks of it, we could interpret this game as a Storm Legacy with some new additions but from what we can read in the website it seems we may get a brand new storymode (and maybe the 4 games's storymodes cut into boss battles with no exploration)... what ihope for is that they add tons of new characters and make adjustements and updates for pre-storm 4 playable characters (or at least some of the fan favorites)
Storm 5 was gonna be about boruto story anyway so if connections has boruto content up to code arc technically it’s storm 5 just with all other naruto games in 1 with all old mechanics and new ones in 1 game

Acording to the trailer's description, this won't be like a "collection" type game or anything of the sorts and it will contain the story from all 4 games, but re-cut and polished in a different way than we already experienced. Apparently, according to BestBuy’s description for the game, a new Boruto story will be included which is game exclusive. Meaning we might get a lot of Boruto Era characters, but it will be original story instead of manga adaptation.

I’ll say what we (people who played and owned storm 1-4) all are thinking. We wanted something different, storm is kinda tired, it’s a great game but we’ve been with storm over 10 years it would really be great to get a new take on the Naruto story. I think RPG open world, select your own village, choose your own path and mentors, create your own jutsus etc there is so much we still want and making another storm game that isn’t even different just a repackage just lands kind of meh.

DB had several successful video games release after the series aired and fans loved it. Naruto has done storm for a long time, if they started from scratch and built a new experience with the franchise gamers and Naruto fans would love it. Especially because we’ve never gotten that type of game from Naruto (making your own Shinobi) and the world of Naruto is very expansive.

Apparently, according to BestBuy’s description for the game, a new Boruto story will be included which is game exclusive. Meaning we might get a lot of Boruto Era characters, but it will be original story instead of manga adaptation.

I’ll say what we (people who played and owned storm 1-4) all are thinking. We wanted something different, storm is kinda tired, it’s a great game but we’ve been with storm over 10 years it would really be great to get a new take on the Naruto story. I think RPG open world, select your own village, choose your own path and mentors, create your own jutsus etc there is so much we still want and making another storm game that isn’t even different just a repackage just lands kind of meh.
Tbh Naruto has passed its prime to do that type of game. It'll have to be based on Boruto and thats not too big in the west so🤷♂️

DB had several successful video games release after the series aired and fans loved it. Naruto has done storm for a long time, if they started from scratch and built a new experience with the franchise gamers and Naruto fans would love it. Especially because we’ve never gotten that type of game from Naruto (making your own Shinobi) and the world of Naruto is very expansive.
