It is weird how he gets hate. He embodies a lot of things that people strive for…courage, strength, perseverance, humbleness. I kind of get the hate that Tebow got. But Purdy? Nah. I just hope he and the Niners are able to get the job done.

I hardly hear sport players putting God up above all of us and everything every day and every game.
I love it too when anybody gives a big interview and gives all the glory to God. The media these days seem to want to silence people who express their belief in God or religion at all. I respect all religions and just love to see it. I don't care if they say "Glory to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ" or "All glory to Allah". I just appreciate people being able to express themselves. I can't stand the censorship nowadays. The media tries to be subtle with censorship and if it keeps up people won't be able to truly express themselves the way they'd like to and that's a very important thing in our country even if some people don't agree with it. It's the people's right to speak freely and have freedom of religion. I respect atheists too although I don't agree with them. We're all human and I think the United States of America has it right with our Constitution and Bill of Rights. If a player went up there and denounced God I'd surely disagree with the player but I'll forever respect someone's right to express themselves freely.

I refused to believe we'd lose this game. The last several seasons I had become used to disappointment but for some internal reason, down deep I had confidence that we could comeback. All we had to do was catch a few breaks and knowing this offense, if we could just put a couple drives together to get back in it we would do it. What a feeling, What a team, What an amazing game! I'm absolutely thrilled! Go Niners.
It is so hard to get to this point. Everyone thought Baltimore would win, but Kansas City after a hard year came through. Everyone was doubting the 49ers after a bad first half, but I knew we have some great players and knew we could do it. Thank you 49ers, one more game. So proud of you. Go 49ers.
