One of my favorite albums and songs. Madonna has written some really great songs for which she doesn't get due credit. I loved this era of her creative journey. Great video and super editing. ❤❤❤❤❤
I agree! Madonna must have thought so too since most of her other non-singles/album tracks from the 80's were never performed live. The only other song that comes to mind that she performed are Over And Over from the Virgin Tour (technically it was released as a single, but only in one country - I think it was Italy -so I'd still consider it an album track overall), Love Makes The World Go Round (which she only performed once, at Live Aid, a year before True Blue was released) and Where's The Party on WTG Tour and again on the Blond Ambition Tour. Physical Attraction performances during track dates wouldn't count since it was a double A-side with Burning Up internationally. Some of the tracks she's never performed as far as I'm aware are: I Know It, Think Of Me, Pretender, Shoo Bee Doo, Stay (I'd love her to do an acoustic performance of this, slowed down on guitar, similar to Malcolm Middleton's cover), Jimmy Jimmy, Ain't No Big Deal, Can't Stop, Spotlight, Til Death Do Us Part, Promise To Try, Dear Jessie, Spanish Eyes, Act Of Contrition, Supernatural. It's a shame that she has never performed any of the non-singles from Like A Prayer, because some of them would be beautiful live.

Thank you both! I've always thought this song was a bit of a forgotten gem in Madonna's catalogue. It's challenging to create an extended version without any other official versions of the song available (particularly an instrumental version) and avoid redundancy, but I was thinking about how many of her Stephen Bray collaborations repeated the bridge a second time before the outro...I thought I would try that out with this song and found that it flowed quite nicely. Plus it's a great bridge, so to me it's nice to hear it twice in the song. And she always has great ad libs at the end of her songs that never seem to last long enough, so that seemed like another good place to extend. Anyway, thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed the mix! :)

Fall of 86/Pretty much all of 87...I had the True Blue album and this song on repeat. Loved that whole album as a 12/13 year old kid. Now I’m 47...
