Very insightful man! I have a couple of questions tho... I guess I'm not sure which cities are considered tier 1. Obv Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, but are there any others? Where would a city like Xi'an rank in terms of tiers? Also, I am thinking about arriving to China first and then looking for a teaching job. I would like to have all of the necessary documents prepared for the work visa. Do you have a video detailing which documents we should have with us before arriving in China? Thanks for the info again man, appreciate the content!
The tier 1 cities , Shenzhen , Guangzhou , Shanghai , Beijing , and I believe chongqing was also added to the list. There are several other cities I’d say would ranked high also such as Hangzhou. Xi an is not and personally I don’t really like xi a but some people do. Just not really the type of weather I like. As for work visa goes if you come here then find a job you will NOT be able to transfer to a work visa while in country. You’ll have to return to your home country and process work visa at the embassy or consulate in your country then come back to China. Good news is usually the employer will cover this cost possibly even your flights.
Good advice. This confirms what I was thinking, move to a bigger city, get comfortable/familiar with China, learn the language, then relocate. Out of the tier 1 cities you mentioned, which would you say has an overall lower cost of living?
Nice video bro
