To be fair all we know about Ayato is that he's a surprisingly responsible and mature young man with a trickster side and some odd hobbies. For all we know, the dude could be a yandere. Before we learned about Childe people thought he was just kind of exuberant but oh ho ho
Plus like, it's just a comic. Not only is the man not real, but his personality also isn't even set in stone, so that's like two levels of fantasy. If people want to get mad, they should seek therapy.

Ayato, right now, seems to me to be the aloof aristocratic archetype, exemplified by characters like Byakuya (from Bleach). That comparison is even reinforced by the sheer beauty of Ayato's move-set. I've watched a certain "preview" video. So yea.
@@CharlyDeamen the crackhead came from Itto's voiceline. He is bestie with Itto who play onikabuto fight and trading card games with him. That's why Itto respects him because when they are together, they share the same brain wavelenght. He also feed weird food to Thoma and the person selling dango milk tea said Ayato likes his milk tea. He also have his funny side if you saw his specialty food and in his skill and burst description, it seems Ayato only show his other face to Thoma, Ayaka and Itto while being reserve and elegant to others.
