Imagine takumis 86 was racing in wangan with cars like the porchse, the 86 engine will obviously explode even with the racing engine, it will still explode.
tbh I don't think he could even race them. His 5th gear is like their 3rd or 4rth gear. He could have his speedo pegged and they would just blow past him like the Red FD in this video, and that's being generous.

@@judemarquez1552 really depends on what Takumi races Akio, 1st stage with the stock 86, 2nd and 3rd stage with just the engine swap, 4th, 5th and final stage with the more elaborated tuning, pre mf ghost with the whole being one of the best racers in a gt86 or mf ghost Takumi who we aren't really sure can still drive at full potential

They would lose since they have not enough space to use ALL of their power, But in the downhill of hakone? I would throw a few chips to 86 over Z, after all there's too much tight turns and so much power, the Devil's Z would stand a chance on the longer straights as soon it managed to keep up a wide gap on the last corner filled section.
