Trey Azagtoth signature Solar? Last I saw he is rocking Dean, which is great considering current events. I could only imagine it being just as awesome as Dan Vadim Dom's.

just wanted to let you know I recently purchased a S1.6FRFBR guitar... I have played everything out there and I am 48 and have been playing since I was about 10 years old... it is the best guitar I have ever played on by far.... AMAZING!

Hi Ola! what should I do for improving guitar tone? 1. Buy hardware distortion pedal (something like revv 3g) + free svt. 2. Buy vst (something like Fortin nameless suite) 3. Use free vst and save money?????
What is your all time favourite tuning to play in? And which tuning gives you the most inspiration? I no when I play in different tunings my playing style changes.

I saw Code Orange open for Deftones a couple years back and they were SO HEAVY live! They were playing Marshall JVM heads and I was blown away by how grindy their tone was! I meant to check them out after and forgot about them until now. Will definitely throw them into my shuffle to rediscover their music. 🤘🏼

We just lost our fur companion. (Feels like just lost, has been 3 months) We adopted her at age 3 and was the kindest and sweetest dog we could ever imagine having in our family. We haven’t even looked seriously at getting a dog because we feel like it would just be trying to replace her and we know she can’t be replaced. Like Pantera without Dime.

I don't know what he thinks of them, but they are my original Metal Gods. Fucking hell, when I was 15 in 1984 and those guys were just coming onto the scene, that grabs a young metal guitarist by the balls and doesn't let go. Especially Lynch. He doesn't get near the credit he should for his work. A beast.

Heard new Jinjer yet!? Awesome and they put reggae in it...my second favorite form of music, metal being first. Max Cavalera said he wanted to fuse reggae in metal and Jinjer have done it!! Hey Ola, glad you finally got to visit Dime’s grave. I just went for the first time too while on tour this summer. I know you’ve talked about Damageplan, but what about the Rebel Meets Rebel album?
Hey Ola, you spoke about amputation, I was in a head on collision where my right arm was nearly amputated. 1cm more and the Dr would have had to amputate it. Luckily no alcohol was involved. But it left me disabled because I have tons of nerve and tendon damage. I have given up playing guitar... Sadly I have a Tom Araya ESP LTD Bass and a Jeff Hanneman ESP LTD guitar, they now just hanging on my wall as art work. I could never afford a Solar guitar and it would also just hang around and never get played.
I still love your videos though. Keep up the excellant work!

Ola, I have a technical question. You said in a video that there are tube amps that have EL84s that are smaller than regular EL84s and that there are significant tonal differences to the originals. Are there other prominent tubes that have smaller "siblings" and what exactly ARE the tonal differences? Thanks in advance!

Olá Ola, how can I make my music without being able to play any instruments (I have Duchenne's Muscular Distrophy, so my muscles suck hard). I'm using Guitar Pro 7, the RSE sounds "OK"-ish, but I want a more "professional" sounding demos, I heard about Odin Samples for guitars/bass and I've seen your videos about Superior Drummer 3, but on which software I use'em (I'm a PC user)? What else would you indicate me to do/use? Cheers from Francisco Beltrão, Paraná, Brazil.
P.S.: I know that if I want real sounding, real instruments are necessary, but I need to hear how it goes, before invest in session musicians.

I love FAQ's with wife. Watching you guys makes me feel like maybe I can still find that again some day, makes me feel that maybe I do know what I want in life after all. Makes me more motivated. Funny thing about the clumsiness, my first coffee date with my ex love was the usual: around midpoint I spill half the coffee on my lap. She just laughed at that stuff always. There's something about being nervous around the person you really want to impress. And I suppose it's cute. But you have that thing where you can just be fools together, that's the thing you always wanna seek.

My wife is my vocalist and my bass player in a power trio doing all original tunes and we both write . So we do everything together. Yes we fight ...all the time. LOL But we both get over very it quickly as it all about making better music.

Hi Ola. I was checking out Solar guitars and I wanted to know what the width of the neck is, at the nut. Are all the models the same width or are there different specs? I usually like my necks to be 1 11/16" at the nut. Thanks, Rich M. :)

So you mentioned about coloured vinyl in a previous FAQ, If you ever re release Master of The Universe how about picture disc of the cat on the vinyl which is on the cd of the album and Black/Blake Curtis is becoming an urban legend.

No freakin' way? Feared albums without the Cookie Monster vocals? Where do I sign up? Lots of guys who were around for the first wave of thrash metal in the early eighties like some of the newer metal, but it sounds like there's only 2 guys doing all the vocals. It really does sound like the "Cookie Monster".

Legendary...I saw em at a dive bar in Rochester NY that lost their liquor license, and they invited the whole club across the street after the show for drinks.
Their bass player was a goof...laying down and jumping around and REALLY having a great time. Someone said he was sober and that's just him.

It was a TINY venue...maybe 150 people. I had a blast. I had a great time seeing In Flames too, those guys freaking blew me away. I didn't even really know em well at the time, totally unfamiliar with their music, but their melodic guitars and tightness was all it took.
This was another little venue in Rochester...honestly one of the best shows I have been to, and I have been to A LOT of shows. This was in the top 10, and I didn't even know the music. I also have seen Trivium, Mastodon and Lamb of God at the same place. I love small venues.
Just scored Dream Theater tix for Syracuse in November, it will be my 14 or 15th DT show. I've even seen DT in a club...just 7 or 8 years ago during the Maiden tour, where they broke away and did 5 general admission club shows. I made it to 2 of em!!! Colombus was the best show ever for me though...fought and dug my way up front and camped out 6 feet in front of JP for 3 hours. Right down the road from the Alrosa Villa where brother Dime was stolen from us. It gave me the heebies.
