The UV EQ from SSL Has become one of my go to eq's for bus work, it is a incredible eq, and I believe it's priced fairly for its ability to get professional results
Yes.but Ssl just devalued it to 500. 350 used. I feel sorry for those that paid full price Ssl just ripped you off. It’s made from cheap Chinese parts and costs no more. Than 100 to make. I would say this is rolls Royce Standard.

1.there made in china. 2.there 500 to buy costing roughly 100 to make. 3.there made from cheaper components with an SSL badge 4.the last of the true ssl was the super analogue range which still holds its price today I’m talking x rack modules all these years later. 5.some people paid 1000-1200 each for these now they are 500. Second hand value 350. 6. They sound like a biscuit tin

do you think the focusrite liquid channel is still a good buy in 2022? I have the uv eq and fusion but I'm looking for a versatile compressor bc I also use the fusion to mix as well.. love your channel btw
I would say with so many dsp based systems, like ua apollo exc. It still does impulse almost like acustica audio. If you can find one for the right price, yes. very neat piece of gear, and thank you for the love on the channel. appreciate that!
@@realiam1am It's a different way the device or plugin models the sound. The liquid channel does that. some people believe its a better way to model a piece of gear. I can do a video on it.. its sorta complex, some believe it sounds more authentic
This SSL violet better for mixing and mixbus than API 550a or API 5500 ? I already have one API 550A and now I don't know whether to buy a second API550a or buy SSL Violet. Mainly on MixBus.....

It’s got cheap Chinese parts like all there new equipment That’s why it’s so cheap. Exactly the same as behringer.
