The hunter smiles sadly.* Hunter: Hello, dear. I'm Emily. I'm rather new to this trade, but I'm here to help. Now, please don't panic. This will all be over soon, but I need you asleep if I'm going to treat your wounds. You weren't supposed to wake up yet. *Listener eyes Emily warily.* Emily: Now, I realize having an unknown substance injected into your blood can be scary... What if it's laced with wolfsbane, correct? *Listener jerks a nod, too afraid to speak.* Emily: But I promise, I wouldn't do such a terrible thing. This is just going to make you sleep. I swear. Now, stay still. This will probably sting a bit. *Injects listener* Emily: That's it. Just, don't fight it. Close your eyes, and let go. When you wake, everything will be okay. Your wounds will be healing, and you'll be back in your love's arms again, safe. *Listener loses consciousness* Emily (Talking to unconscious listener): I'm sorry for what my colleagues did to you. We aren't all like that. But you know all about hunters... the good, and the bad. I wish I could have stopped what happened, made them see sense, but I'm a medic; they don't listen to me. I'm going to patch you up, now, but after that, I need to leave. Don't want your love getting the wrong idea about me when he finds you here. Especially since I'm part of the group that attacked you. On the fringes, but still... I just want to do good. That's why I became a medic. I didn't want to hurt people, even so-called "monsters." This way, I can at least undo some of the damage the Guild has caused. But if I can't reverse the damage, at least I can ease the pain. That's why I put you to sleep. I don't want you to suffer through what I'm about to do. I'm sorry, but this would hurt a lot more if you were awake for it. *Emily gets to work*
