100% already many Scouts in Italy and Turkey are eager to get their hands on her ! but she is still only 16 years old and will play in the *NCAA Tournament* under 22 years old.
Congratulations USA. Vandewall so beautiful and talented. Keep going beautiful girls .
The Americans have given value to the U21s by bringing in U19 champions Mullen and Vandewall, the team's true gems: tall players with strong arms, very well applied blocking tactics and tactical intelligence.
This generation is coming on strong for 2028. Kirally must already have his eye on these girls.
You forgot to mention Van Der Wal is only 16 yrs old -- playing in both the U19 and U21 world tournaments. THAT is remarkable. For a 16 yr old, she's fabulous (6-foot 3" at 16, lol). But, look... There are MANY collegiate girls who are FAR more explosive, dynamic, athletic hitters than Abagail. This tournament, and USA team does NOT showcase or represent the world's best U21's, for sure. Van Der Wal LOOKS great here, but she's got a LONG way to go to demonstrate she can hang with the big girls.

USA Women's Volleyball is the best and strongest in the world ! There is no other country in the world with so many talented good players of high level women ! It is always a challenge for the USA Women's Adult Team Coaches to select the top 12 players for any tournament because the USA has a very large selection of good players ! USA women's team will dominate the next 15 years in world volleyball ! The USA has *NCAA Tournament* among students in the USA there are more than 300 teams and hundreds of talented players from all over the country !
