I remember back when Drum (Gao's first buddy) left and was replaced with Bal, I wasn't really happy at the time but grew to love Bal as much as Drum
6 years later, this is still one of my favourite openings, it reminds me of the time when buddyfight first came out, i binged the entire first season before buddyfight 100 dropped, and then this opening came out somehow through buddyfight i ended up finding more anime, so while its nowhere near my favourite series, this is still one i'd binged whenever i want to feel nostalgic again, and i can definitely see why i enjoyed it so much in the past ...not ace though, its a decent one but i never liked it much
Buddyfight made me so many friends and I went to the world championships qualifiers in my region 3 years in a row, but then honestly the anime started falling off and the friends I made stopped going… I still have my Star Dragon World deck though!
I litterly have a tattoo on my right arm near my bicep, if that doesn’t scream I’m a big fan idk what does. Also if anyone is wondering what it is related to buddyfight, it’s chibi panda, I personally liked X.

Almost 5 years later and still a epic song. I feel this was when the buddyfight anime hit it's peak. Once ace started it kind of went down hill
I used to love buddyfight so much until Ace came. If only they continues with the first generation of characters :(
