    Not entirely correct!
    1. You need to put the base of your palm on the person's chin (hold his mouth closed) and press his mask against his face with your fingers (to ensure it doesn't leak when going up).
    2. You need to approach the person from the back, pull your right arm under the person's armpit and then put your right arm on his face (see 1). Your left hand holds the back of the person's head. This is to ensure you don't pull him up entirely by his head.
(I got Molchanovs L1 certified last month.)

For real I am sure you would drop the weights as soon as possible. Makes everything much easier. And if there is anyone near, call for help.

Hello tim, in hard situations dropping weights are a must, but the bottom was deep , in case we dropped belts, we’ll not be able to get them back , after doing the btt , & in case of a no response after a cpr , calling for help would be my option

I heard if your real deep you shouldn’t take the weights off cuz you could ascend to fast 💨 and bad stuff happens

@@tinaplunkett8795 Dropping weights will allow you to come up faster. For a free diver there are no consequences because your body has only been exposed to high pressure for a few minutes and the amount of gas in your lungs is the same as when you started. It's different for scuba divers who have breathed air at pressure at depth. Dropping weights for a scuba diver will result in an uncontrolled ascent. Scuba dives typically last many minutes and that high pressure air will have got into your tissues. So not only would you have to breathe out fast enough to vent the increasing volume of gas in your lungs but you may also suffer from a decompression injury, aka the bends. Is this what you were thinking of?

@@tinaplunkett8795 those consequences occur only to scuba divers who breath from compressed air

But I'm curious in your demonstration why you grab the diver by the throat-trachea area? There could be a squeeze happening during that caused the black out? Thank you for sharing!

Hello, it looks like my hand on his throat but in real, with my 2 fingers i lift him by focusing on his jaw, there was no risk, it's not a real blackout, it was a drill, in case of a non clear protocol it will lead to injuries, you're welcome 🙏

IMO, totally blew that rescue... wrapping your hand on the divers throat would have been an abject fail in my PFI Safety Freediver/Safety Supervisor courses... That is not demonstration quality rescue at depth...

Personally I always put them in a head scissors before dolphin flapping to the surface. Saves precious seconds and gives me a bit of a tingle. 😉

Not a resque.. during pulling from the deep, you have to push his head in front to stop possible escape of air fron the lung & also to prevent wather leaking into the lung..

I really hope no one will follow this "rescue protocol" there are so many things wrong starting with his hand in the wrong position, his fins kicking towards the rescue, rescues head beeing tilted back.... etc...
