Thank you for playing beautiful tribute to bra Jonas Gwanagwa I would have loved it without vocal. The brass section is just awesome I love it
Rest easy Ntate Jonas Gwangwa.
Your sound made the world a slightly better place and I am thrilled that this excellent tribute held before these crazy times arrived. This is a worthy tribute.
Hamba Kahle Ntate!
Very beautiful on the trombone coupled with the vocalist.
Thank you for Tribute, 2022 we need this..
So glad I found this tune! I love it so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Reminds me of my parents on Sundays 🥰
What a revelation!! This superb arrangement shows how little we appreciate our own talent.
What another angle of jazz exposition! The lead trombonist displayed an outstanding dexterity incredibly with effortless ease creating a superlative ambience. Add a commanding vocal that left an atmosphere of wonderment with incredible instrumentation. Astonishing new sound professionally displayed. Quintessential jazz at its best. Unforgettable.❤❤❤😊😊😊

I watch this so much, i think i made 60 of the 400 views. Bez gave a beautiful solo that really sounded like a South African trombone should. Big ups to Marcus, you're a genius brother. and Mihi just sounded like an angel.

Another excellent performance by the ZAR Orchestra. Thank you, Marcus.
Shout out to Mihi. Her delivery was 👌🏿
yeh, mic drops are supposed to happen after a great solo, not before !
10/10. You really made this song yours. This is one of my favorite pieces by Gwangwa. What makes Gwangwa's dirges such compelling pieces - including the song Le Joale, among many others - is that through their simplicity (even in the lyrics) he's able to convey a desolate feeling of mourning and celebration at the same time. None of that feeling was lost listening to your rendition here and it sounded extremely original.
thanks so much for your kind words Shadrack - this is a special piece of writing from Bra Jonas ..
Wow ❤️👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
