Isle of Sheppey around the island race 2008

The Pevensey Bay Sailing club away team at the Isle of Sheppey race 2008. The Ios race is a forty mile clockwise circumnavigation of the island open to all dinghies, Cats and sail boards that are capable of getting under the Kingsferry bridge.

You must be brave doing that race in a conventional boats ie: wardrobes without doors ! could'nt sit there for 5+hrs we've normally cought this lot up by before Leysdown . Great fun race have done this one on two occasions will return this yr best time on the water 3hrs :27mins in a mono hull
