- Join us for PART 2 of our Taveuni Fiji holiday. We continued to enjoy our stay at Green Fiji Plantation and got to sit down and get to know Waqa who manages the operation, we were serenaded by the guys, and went to visit Taveuni's blow hole and nearby uninhabited island of Korolevu for snorkelling and chilling on the beach. What a time! And thanks Jim fir touring us around and loving on our boys!

Those rocks will be a great spot to cast some lures for some GT, need a surf caster rod though

@@WakaFamily Those conditions are great for GTs. You will need, at the minimum, a 9 foot rod to lift them off those rocks.
I got a 10 foot rod with a Penn reel but I didn’t bring it! Ahhh🤦🏽♂️…where do you live that you have all this good fishing advice?
@@WakaFamily that's perfect gear for it. I live in Suva, done a lot of casting myself. Haven't fished in a while though. I always found a day after nasty weather to be the best time for GT, they come right to the shallows chasing bait fish.
