Any buff you give to the stoned gargoyle transfers the buff onto the cards ones the stoned one is buffing. If you had a knight statue only touching a stoned one, all of the gargoyles touching it will get it's buff, the same for witch. I believe sword stacks are the only one that doesn't do this
