Front end seems like it comes off relatively easy to access the condensor. you may want to post a link for an inexpensive triple square set from Amazon or Harbor Freight. Hey bro I’m thinking of building my 2.0t bk1. U by chance know the process on doing so lol. Like I can’t just buy all forged parts (pistons, rod bearings, etc) and just replaced the old parts with those and call it a day right? Do I have to send my motor to a machine shop or so. I’m new to this lol. Also I haven’t blown my motor just want a strong and reliable build. I’m up there in miles 104k

    • @thesuburbanGenny

      If you’re building your motor definitely buy forged internals and regardless of if you know what you’re doing or not I would always have a machine shop take a look at the block and assemble just in case there may be any damage and then they torque everything properly.

      It’s easiest with the front core support off like I had it, also make sure all 10 bolts of the transmission housing are off there are 2 towards the top that are impossible to see and you have to feel for, also make sure your front sway bar is removed the transmission tends to get caught in that when removing. • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny ปีที่แล้ว

      Built motor with forged internals, definitely gonna need bigger cams, Atleast gsc s1s. A turbo capable of 600hp the go to for these cars is a Garrett 3076r, return style fuel system with Atleast a dw400 and 1300cc injectors, you can do e85 or 93+meth, a haltech or link ecu, an intercooler rated for that hp and a good tuner. There’s plenty different ways to make that power on this platform I will be doing a video soon to show what my setup is, how much it cost and what is needed to make the 600hp
