Many people have had this common confusion whether you should pursue NISM Courses as opposed to full fledged degrees and designations like CFA, CA, BBA, etc. I have discussed comprehensively about who should opt for NISM courses and what could be their benefits for a candidate. I have also described the scope of those courses and the fees required for them.

Sir, I did my Graduation in 22. I'm not from any kind of Commerce or Finance background. I wanted to do an MBA from Top college But wan't able to crack CAT. Now I think i should do NISM PGDSM(Securities market Pg Diploma) along with FRM. Will that be a good Profile(PGdsm+ FRM) option for Risk Management profile.

you are absolutely right..today my all doubts are clear..nism is just a steeping laddder or the first step of our journey..in many videos youtubers are spreading the wrong information that is after passing this exams one will get a job or become a research analyst under SEBI registered..
you will get a starting point in your career which is better than nothing ,the certificate helps the recruiter to understand that you have basic knowledge in the subject and they have a higher chance to recruit you

No you can't directly appear for PMS. You need to at least have completed the NISM Introduction to Securities as preliminary course
