Yes, equivalence is available in AICTE (2017) Food processing and preservation equivalent to Food technology - Check for that and apply through that equivalence.
Since they have specifically mentioned B.tech. I guess only B.tech candidates are eligible or else higher degree like M.tech. Since you have MSc you need to search for equivalence in the TNPSC wesbite.

We also referred with previous Aavin recruitment, it clearly mentioned B tech food process engineering. No course in the name of btech food processing , only b. Tech food process engineering available. Just submit your degree
