Please note that you can't do this with just any normal soil, it has to be clay. I recommend collecting soil from near rivers since they are rich in clay.

Air dry first (after sculpting), then after all the mojsture got out of your sculpture put it in a fire pit outside. Just build a fire around your clay piece then set it on fire. It should get to 800 or so centigrade
