Every Wednesday after a video is released on TH-cam, I do a live Q&A session, at 3 PM ET. I may also take the opportunity to discuss something in the video in more detail or maybe something I realize I didn’t talk about in the video. Some of the quilting cherubs share their own insight on the topic with others too!! Come and check it out!
You can also join our community group, “HALO’s Creative Kingdom” ( / 795507740874535 . This is a wonderful, supportive group of quilting cherubs. We have a HALO’s Happy Hour in the community that meets with me and other quilting cherubs, live, usually once a week. We hope to see YOU in there!
May you continue to be inspired, productive, and joyful! And may you never stop making your dreams in quilting come true!

Thank you about the 15 bobbins. I bought 2 singer sewing machines on one he home shopping about maybe 10 yrs or less. One is a computer one I leave it unplugged because we have our electric goes off and on dim at times and can ruin them. The other one is a gray professional one. They came with all kinds of attachments. Also a plastic case like you showed with metal bobbins. I have a muscle and nerve disease and hands are numb, its hard to hold on to a needle. I was trying to change the needle in my computer one. It fell through to under the machine and I could not get it out. Our man in our area passed away so I found a phone number on the window of true value hardware and called this man to work on my machine. He lives in New York, but will travel to our area to pick up machines to work on them. I was using the medal bobbins and he told me not to use it that it can ruin something. I don't remember what. But it might be the whole case like you were saying. Why would they come with metal ones then? He said to use 15, 3 class. I thought metal would work better and last longer. So I haven't sewed for a while, I guess I should try to call Singer. It cost me over $100 for him to get the needle out and to clean the machine. Now I use pliers to hold the needle and have to tilt the machine to get it in. I have such a hard time and takes me a long time to do it. Like 30 -40 minutes or longer. Ugh. I really appreciate you showing us this. I have heard to not to let them sit it can do something. I haven't used mine in 2 yrs maybe.

Having the wrong bobbin can really mess up your project and your machine. Sewing machine companies should be clear on what bobbins we should use. I am sew happy I was able to help. Thank you for stopping by

I have been thinking about you for several days now....I went and looked at past comments...did you say it has been 2 yrs since you last sewed? That is about the time we became quilting friends! I hope you have been able to find yourself back into quilting...Arthritis can be a real bummer with sewing, but just remember, it isn't a race! You have all the time you need. Glad to hear from you! Keep in touch, and keep believing! XOXO-Angel

hmmm do I still watch since you can't tell me how to have a forever one🤨😂 um yes! When I started looking up bobbins I thought my head was going to explode 🤯 You do such a great job explaining! It's so odd the class 15 singers were breaking on me, they should have worked they were the same exact sizes. LOL I have calipers, well hubby does I'm not allowed to touch them 🤐👏👏👏 Thank you for the education 🥰 I have bobbins to wind , I'll be seeing if I can hear that click. I could when you did it ! I did look up the precise size for my machine before I bought them because , well I figure cars need specific sizes for parts I should make sure with my sewing machine pieces 🤷‍♀. I need to know the whys too thanks! 🐇🕳 get me all the time . Have a great weekend . I'll be getting your live now 👍

I know it was crazy all the information that was there on bobbins. They are way more important to the smooth running of your machine. I am sew glad you liked it.

oh...Eric did buy me a caliper...guess what? My singer bobbin is 12 mm...brother wants you to use the sa156 which is supposed to measure 11.5mm...I don't have one, so I don't know what the sa156 really measures. Maybe, if the sizes are different, the singer bobbins keep breaking because it is not the right measurement...just guessing
