I remember when somebody said to me: "It's fake, because Andrew Garfield said that he's not in it," and I laughed because the dumbest thing to do with movies like this is to believe the actor. Do you really think that actors who are part of a twist in a movie or a series are going to reveal those twists to you? No, they're contracted to keep quiet and lie about it.
They’ve done this with literally every Spider-Man movie w/Tom Holland. Every time he “accidentally leaks” something he “wasn’t” supposed to it’s absolutely a marketing ploy. It’s tasteless and a cop out, especially when actors who have accidentally said something, like mark ruffalo, had serious threats given about him losing his job. Not to mention how the people lower down get treated if they leak something. It’s shameful honestly and I wish they would stop.
He's in the movie. The way he reacts and talks in the interview, he's definitely in the movie. There'll be a tons of memes after he appears in the movie after the way he reacted to those claims.
@AV I read it but I'm sure they will be in the movie. All this multiverse stuff, previous villains from movies out of the MCU, Venom being teleported by Strange to the MCU... There's so many things that could start the spider-verse any time but everyone doubts of the most logical and effective move Sony and Marvel could do, that is bringing back the previous Spidermen (Andrew and Tobey). Aside from the leaks and those things, the actors' behavior during interviews and the winks they leave in the social media are also a bit suspicious and odd in a way (overall with Andrew), but yeah, it's better for everyone to keep calm until something bigger comes out. For me, the spider-verse is already coming (no pun intended) for some stuff I've seen that Sony saw too and made them angry enough to block posts and accounts, so...
@AV why doing this amount of hard work with getting the old actors to reprise as their roles and not include the main characters? Now I myself also believe that Andrew and Tobey aren’t initially confirmed to be in NWH but there’s a very high chance of that they will be in it.
Because it was real it’s not a deepfake these dudes obviously don’t really know exactly what there talking about basically saying it’s a deepfake just because they seen the Andrew video of him saying it was a deepfake and that actual fake video that Sony put out to try and make it look like a deepfake which didn’t even look the same

Wow some of those new comments are beyond stupidity They were saying it over and over that it's highly impossible for the leaked video to be a fake, and those trolls from the wood are yelling "liar" "idiots" "age like milk" How did humanity come this far…
The leak itself is actually a super high scaled upres video, the original leaked is way more accurate with its facial authenticity. That's like a huge reason as to why the skin looks pretty smooth.
also another thing Sam and Niko doesn't mention, they fail to mention other parts of the body moving accordingly with Andrew talking, such as the stomach and slight movements in the arm.
“And the Academy Award for the best supporting actor goes to……Andrew Garfield, Spider-Man: No Way Home!” Andrew: It wasn’t me, guys! It was photoshopped!
What nobody seems to understand is that Andrew Garfield is one of the most professional actors in the world. If he wanted to convincingly lie and say he wasn't in the movie then he would be able to.
Also hilarious how people are seriously going "he can't just LIE to the people, he wouldn't do that!"..... If this is a real leak, the studio would NOT hesitate to tell him to deny the whole thing, and he would definitely "lie" to you. It's literally part of being an actor, you do what they tell you to do.
Denying or even lying for marketing purposes is a long established tactic at this point, lol. It's probably in his contract/NDA that he had to deny or even flat-out lie. We've seen it happen before in Hollywood "Oh no, this thing totally isn't happening" and then it happens, lol.
Seriously, especially when talking about Marvel/Disney - they've turned the concept of using marketing to misdirect fans into a damned art form at this point. Look at the lengths they went to for the Infinity War/Endgame marketing to throw fans off with red herrings and straight up lies. This is why I find it to be fun and an amusing way to pass the time to come up with and debate fan theories but I never take them too seriously, even to the point of frame by frame analyses of trailers, as there's no guarantee that what's in the trailer will actually show up in the final movie at all.
It's absolutely in the NDA that they can't spoil it or they could face a fine and will never work with the company again (unless of course you make them 100s of millions like Mark Ruffalo but you know, he's a treasure so they can forgive him for how much money they all produce to be on screen together)
Or, as I saw pointed out by New Rockstars, late night hosts get all their questions screened ahead of time. Fallon wouldn't have been allowed to ask unless Disney wanted them to ask it. The whole thing was a plant.
That's a very good mindset to go by since we could get the rug pulled from under us and see this is actually a Tom Holland Standalone film. Because of that possibility alone, I'm tryna keep my expectations in check. Taking Andrew's advice and manage them.
ikr, i mean, if this shot is actually legit (i mean if it were fake, it would be so hard to do so like niko said) then im excited but idk if i can trust anything so im tryna not get excited lmao
Impossible. This is literally Hype: The Movie, with the Sinister Six and all three versions of Spider-Man. And I am 110% ok with this. My body is ready.
Hype that gonna leave people disappointed and give the movie bad ratings the movie will probably be the fall of Tom Holland as spider man then they'll restart all over again for the fourth time people have to many high expectations for the movie

something i just thought of, seemed to me those hands from the left is sam raimis suit because of the black spirals, only tobey has that. and this scene happens maybe when they get a chance to talk to each other, and since tom can analyze with his suit, andrew flings his view to tom after he asks the question, while tobey just tries to explain how his web shooters work
This particular episode reminds me a lot of Sam & Niko's early days on TH-cam, just the two of them, sharing ideas and showing us what they know and how it's done.
While I don't think this is true, I love just imagining this, Raimi laughing at us all because we thought the weird dancing scene in Spiderman 3 was cringe but in reality it was just a setup.
@@mook_10 It's not Tobey's glove. It's Tom's. Why would Andrew only be talking to Tobey? There are three spidermen. If you look at the hand, there's a bit of metal plating around the wrist area that is colored gold, which is featured on one of Tom's suits.
@@starkiller007 My guy, a picture leaked of the same scene from a different angle and it's only Tobey and Andrew. Tom is not present in that scene. Also its CLEAR that it's Tobey costume, like, really. The raised webbings and everything.

The hand is fuzzy and you can barely make out any "raised webbing", if any - and also, raised webbing is present on Andrew's suit too - it's not a distinct feature to only Tobey's spiderman. You still haven't addressed the gold plating on the hand, which is only found on Tom's suit. You guys aren't paying attention to everything, you're missing details.

at the exact moment he speaks, Andrew's gut reacts to his muscles being flexed, that seems like something that can't be precisely faked. Also, the shadow of his head and throat on his arm is perfectly synced and shaped. If this was faked, someone put an extreme amount of effort into this for seemingly no reason?
And the way his head/neck movements interact with the shoulders etc. And how crisp the connection from his neck to his suit. Just look at Ironman, even in Avengers there’s something slightly off about his face+suit every time and their budget was in the $100s of millions.
@Rafif Naufal Haryanto the brazil version of the new trailer shows The Lizard being punched by thin air, so they very likely cropped out the other Spideys for the trailer and they will be in the movie
This makes me love him more. He wants us to be genuinely surprised. He wants to not spoil it for the true fans. And he is going above and beyond for it. Love Andrew Garfield. And imma get hate for this. But I watched the amazing Spider-Man 2 for the first time since theaters. My favorite Spider-Man movie by far. His banter with his aunt. And Gwen. And how incredibly believable it was that he was truly overwhelmed and couldn’t get to Gwen. Like it wasn’t typical Hollywood where the character could have easily saved her but the story wants her to die. Like he was literally doing 18 things at once and still managed to almost get her.
I don't think it's so much that he wants us to be surprised but that his NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) forbids him from telling anyone he's actually in this movie. He definitely may want us all to be surprised by the studio won't let him until they say he can.

Marvel and Sony execs are sweating right now. Really appreciate the analysis and insight you guys bring
after the success of Deadpools leaked test footage, Sony 100% uses leaked footage as marketing nowadays
Sweating money.
theyre literally.playing exactly into what disney wants
Sweating in money, can you imagine how much money they are going to make on first week, from people to see if it is actually real or not.

He's in the movie. The way he reacts and talks in the interview, he's definitely in the movie.
There'll be a tons of memes after he appears in the movie after the way he reacted to those claims.
@AV Yeah but he's in the movie...
@AV nah he’s in the film
@AV and you're the first who assume something
@AV why doing this amount of hard work with getting the old actors to reprise as their roles and not include the main characters? Now I myself also believe that Andrew and Tobey aren’t initially confirmed to be in NWH but there’s a very high chance of that they will be in it.

IM NOT THE WEREWOLF!
YES HE IS NOW
Did anybody in the comments saying “y’all were wrong!” actually watch the video lmao
Exactly!
It's absolutely in the NDA that they can't spoil it or they could face a fine and will never work with the company again (unless of course you make them 100s of millions like Mark Ruffalo but you know, he's a treasure so they can forgive him for how much money they all produce to be on screen together)
I was going to say, Tom Ellis swore blind that he wasn't making a Lucifer cameo in the Arrowverse "Crisis on Infinite Earths" series.
Or, as I saw pointed out by New Rockstars, late night hosts get all their questions screened ahead of time. Fallon wouldn't have been allowed to ask unless Disney wanted them to ask it. The whole thing was a plant.
The lessons on deepfakes from vids of Niko talking helped me know that this was legit

"so you have web blood?" Andrew
"it's very possible." Andrew looks at Tom as Tobey tries his best to explain the science of his organic web shooters
This the leaked audio of something you thought of?
something i just thought of, seemed to me those hands from the left is sam raimis suit because of the black spirals, only tobey has that. and this scene happens maybe when they get a chance to talk to each other, and since tom can analyze with his suit, andrew flings his view to tom after he asks the question, while tobey just tries to explain how his web shooters work
He wasn't saying anything about web-blood. He's saying .. "So it's just one block?" which is an acting term >_>

My god, that additional Spider-Man footage was amazing and is getting me so excited for this movie.
So many people saying this "video aged like milk", only for them to be proven wrong and never to be heard from ever again.

What if they were planning on having a huge spider-man crossover when they were making so many spider-men in such little time
While I don't think this is true, I love just imagining this, Raimi laughing at us all because we thought the weird dancing scene in Spiderman 3 was cringe but in reality it was just a setup.

@@Lumin09 I know what picture you're talking about, but that isn't proof the hand is Tobey's. In the scene that was supposedly filmed, Andrew would be with Tom and Tobey, not just Tobey. The hand doesn't match Tobey's glove.

The hand is fuzzy and you can barely make out any "raised webbing", if any - and also, raised webbing is present on Andrew's suit too - it's not a distinct feature to only Tobey's spiderman. You still haven't addressed the gold plating on the hand, which is only found on Tom's suit.

Also, the shadow of his head and throat on his arm is perfectly synced and shaped. If this was faked, someone put an extreme amount of effort into this for seemingly no reason?
It could be faked by someone else speaking and flexing their stomach, but in this case, it's not a deepfake because of other things.
And the way his head/neck movements interact with the shoulders etc. And how crisp the connection from his neck to his suit.

And imma get hate for this. But I watched the amazing Spider-Man 2 for the first time since theaters. My favorite Spider-Man movie by far. His banter with his aunt. And Gwen. And how incredibly believable it was that he was truly overwhelmed and couldn’t get to Gwen.
