How to Access the Web Browser on the PS5

- How to gain access to the PS5's Web Browser to access any website you like!
Unlike other methods this one doesn't require a PSN account or PSN sign in to work.

At TH-cam you can click the tool box upper right, it is a lot easier
They removed the web browser because they want the PS5 to be “solely a gaming console” but they still have the TH-cam app, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Spotify, etc. There was no reason to remove it
They removed it likely because that's how all the PS4 exploits were done

@@BlueIsLeet On top of that they have now patched these methods aswell. The ps5 has already been exploited. Modern vintage gamer done a video on it. My moneys on that this was done through using the methods in this video.
@@LG1ikLx There's a new PS4 exploit for 9.00 which means in extension PS5 may also be modded. The dev of the mod can't test though since he doesn't own one.

This tutorial made me laugh. The amount of steps and determination it took to manuever around to the web browser (which should've been a standard app from inception) is equally amazing and janky.
Facts
to achieve a very bad browser experience while watching this with a very capable wireless device in my hand. I laughed too hahaha
What did you expect psn is anti consumer and releasing stuff that isnt even done is todays new standard

@@Zodeae yesssir it’s easier tho if you just go to users and account management then press link with TH-cam and then click on terms at the bottom then 9 boxes at the top show up and you can click on that and go to the search bar

Life saver, this helped me login for gaming on hotel access, even though I could use my phone sometimes my ps5 would discretly log me out and I had no idea what was going on until I tried this

@@floridaman6643 that’s ridiculously easy to not include in first place. More likely there is reason why they can't get rid of a browser or block other websites from accessing. They obviosly know that browser is main reason why devices got hacked. I don't think Sony is that stupid.

8/7/23 they blocked the TH-cam link where you can’t click on it no more. It’s pitiful like what is the big deal with not letting people on the web. I’m pissed PlayStation come on😡

So the second one did not work. Connected and everything but it didn't have the "error" when loading the user guide even after relogging in AND restarting.
This is awesome. I literally just got my ps5 and unhooked the PS4 and then I realized there was no web browser. I told my friends at work that I was bummed out because now I have to watch porn on my laptop and I had gotten used to enjoying it on the 70" tv and sharing it with the whole neighborhood. I think the upstairs neighbors told everyone else to avoid me because I'm a weirdo who is sleeping with my step sister when she babysits... If they realized it was just a video then, they would probably still avoid me.

@@andreasegura3988 you have to use the PlayStation app , I have 2 accounts so what I did was signed on to my 2nd account on the PlayStation app , I wanted to watch one piece so I copied the link for the episode and pasted it in the PlayStation app and messaged it to my main account . Then when I logged onto my main account on my ps5 I opened up my messages and the link was there for me to click on it

Everywhere here in PA is sold out. Best buy target walmart gamestop all of it don't have it in stores. And when they do hit the stores they sell fast because people order them months ahead of shipment. If you really want one you will have to shed double to get it from a scalper in places like ebay and offer up. As it stands I haven't been able to land one here in stores and I don't feel like paying a 1000 dollars for the digital version either to a scalper so I'll wait.

I knew there was one somewhere, cos when assassins creed advertised new bits it automatically diverts us to a basic browser.. so why isn't thay available all the time?
Don't forget to change the DNS back to automatic once you're done using the web browser. Otherwise you may not be able to reconnect to Sony's servers.

For the people who think they’re banned you need to create 2 registered networks 1 with the manual DNS and 1 with automatic still on. If you keep the custom DNS on you won’t be able to connect to psn.
