I remember when my mum would start work at 5am and on a cold dark winter morning she would get up and get ready for work, there was nothing more comforting in the whole world than being tucked up in bed all warm and cosy listening to the sound of the hairdryer coming from the hallway. The sound put me in to the most comfortable sleep ever! She finds it so crazy that the sound of a hairdryer makes me feel safe and relaxed. I guess it comes from the comfort of it in my childhood even now if I'm feeling anxious or panicky I play these videos and all of a sudden I'm so relaxed! It's really weird how it can make you feel less stressed or anxious just by listening to these sounds! Great work! Best white noise videos on TH-cam! 👍🏼

Just an appreciation post. I, like many others have had a similar experience growing up. My mum would blowdryer my sisters hair after a weekend away with my dad. I would always fall asleep waiting for her to finish drying. Now, 20 years later i am using ASMR blowdryer to put my son (1 yr 8m) and daughter (4m) to sleep. It works like a charm, it is not just relaxing but it also cancels out the sharp sounds, cars, dog barks etc. Respect to this channel, you have made my life some what easier. Just a dad, cheers

I live in one of those apartment buildings where the walls don't block the neighbor's sounds - like having sex or even just regular talking. So that means they could be hearing me - maybe even sensitive phone conversation that I may be having. This sound is great to use as a sonic wall/mask to maintain my privacy. I'm sure others here live in places with walls like that.

An ad 4 minutes in - really helped in my falling asleep process
Sorry for the ads, Madisan Johnson, but that's not my fault. As I explained in a community post three days ago, this channel has still the monetization disabled but TH-cam puts ads anyway. I have no control on that. To get rid of ads you can try an effective Ad-blocker, listen to my sounds on my Spotify channel or get the TH-cam Premium membership. Love this thought I was the only person who liked this i used to put on my own hairdryer for a nap to sleep now I don't have to so relaxing my dad did that when I was a baby so the sounds make me feel relaxed and sleepy, also I used to fall asleep to the hoover when I was young too.

I live in one of those apartment buildings where the walls don't block the neighbor's sounds - like having sex or even just regular talking. So that means they could be hearing me - maybe even sensitive phone conversation that I may be having. This sound is great to use as a sonic wall/mask to maintain my privacy.
