OK, the root cause for the bigger layout shift was quite obvious, and I don't think I would need a special tool to realize it. What about the smaller one? What was the action suggested?
Could you post a link in the comments to the example website, so we could follow along? Some websites don't have (e.g.) layout shift frames in the trace.
@@jecjecfish I had many components being rendered (I use sveltejs) and I noticed that they make my spinner hang for a second or so, it was hard to determine which components are slowing things down (because I have to follow the stack trace and it's very messy because it includes the svelte generated code) So I thought that the "long task" feature would make it easier to detect these performance issues.
This is impressive. Seriously, there's been a lot of work to make this happen. Great job guys!

This panel opens every time I hit ctrl+C (copy text). Is there a way to turn this off?

today, I had to debug a 1 second hiccup, it was quite hard using the old perf panel. This new panel makes it easier.
