Grip invented in 1948 by the Italian manufacturer Carlevaro & Savio and she equipped in 1949, the first gondola in the world. Its particularity is to be accelerated and decelerated in launchers and retarders by wheels supporting this same grip. The roller throwers have inspired the current tire ramps. It did not use gravity unlike the competing clips of the time (Giovanola and VR101). The grip is bistable and therefore has an open position in the station and closed of line.
Toll!
Vielen Danken für alles Kommentar ! :-)
Good machine room footage & technical details.
