Wow, amazing to watch you young generations, discovering the Pandora's box of heavy metal. These songs are the foundation, and like true masterpieces, travel through eras.
Another awesome Megadeth song from the Countdown to Extinction album. Your reactions to Megadeth songs are totally badass. It kinda makes me feels like I'm hearing it again for the first time.
i grew up on megadeth. they still have some of the best guitar solos ive ever heard. i can play 3/4 of this song and it took me nearly 4 months on and off to get just that much down. i can play up to 7:20.
Ya my first cassette when I was 4 ^_^ But.. I'm against all the satan n junk... And Stars goats.. circles balls obelisk and gold.. space and panspermia.. secret societies.. and friends
The 'stops' always make me smile while headbanging in the pit, you're waiting for them & it's just beautiful when the band nails them live in front of you. Prong "Snap Your Fingers" has a couple of nice ones too 🤟🏻😎🤟🏻
Architecture of Aggression is another great from that album (If i remember it right, it's about about appreciating the strength of your enemies in life and war coz their successes make you better and stronger) One of my favourites to play on guitar. Keep doing what you're doing bro you're donking on it \m/
Great review! Had same reaction 😂 I imagine playing that and just "mic" dropping the guitar because it's ruined! Will ne ver played that badass ever again! 😎 put it out of it's misery. 😆 nice job!
This song is from 1992. It was posted to TH-cam in 2013. If you're really interested in seeing Megadeth live, they'll be in Charlotte, NC on July 17 and in Raleigh, NC on July 18 of 2021
I might have to check that out. Never been to a concert, and missed my chance last time Metallica came through. The only 2 bands I would want to see. I live in Greenville.

The Dystopia Album would be a great introspect to what is going on today. Heck all the albums Since 2000 would make you think Dave is possibly a prophet.
I jumped once. we all went w/ instructors wch means we all had a dude strapped to our asses. 1 of my boys paid a few extra $s to have a camera man jump w/him. some1 edited tht video w/high speed dirt in the background. always gets me fired up.
One of their best songs EVER, to me. And certainly the best one on that album. Killer riffs, awesome drumming, no political crap, just a metal song about skydiving and its adrenaline effects. Swaggy, your reaction to this phenomenal speedmetal song is spot on! 🤘
As others have said this came out in 92. True story: Before the glorious era of digital music I bought this on Cassette with my own money from a paper route I had from the old music store Strawberry Records. Wanting the most out of my purchase I opted for a lifetime warranty in which if the cassette ever stopped working they'd give me a replacement for free. I listened to this album so many times, obsessively you might say, I wore out three cassettes and one CD making them replace it 3 times for me before they went out of business. Since then I've gone through 2 mp3 players and 4 phones with this album on it. I'll probably be listening to it on my death bed. This is the album if I were marooned on a deserted island and could only have one album to listen to this would be it. One of my concert highlights of all time in the before times when concerts were a thing was seeing them play this entire album live from start to finish. I was in Mega Heaven that day.
Alot of people don't have an ear for Megadeth anymore sadly... And they are an old band too... I was 2 when this song came out. Lmao but I love Megadeth!!!
This was 92, came out after the Black Album. It matters cuz after the Black Album Dave Mustaine wanted to create his own "Black Album" --meaning creating something that kept the integrity of metal but transcended into the mainstream music world.
@@TheJoshito8 Craziness. Memories are weird. I looked and saw info says you are right. I called my friends and asked if they remember it that way and we all remember buying countdown first. And later watching Dave;s interview on how happy he was for his success until Metallica f'kd him again with the Black album. Mandella effect or just false memories ... who knows.
Just my take, but the popularity of Metal (whatever type you want to call it) had really started to swing from bands with the gritty, screaming type, but still understandable lyrics, toward the "Cookie Monster" sounding, growling stuff by 2013 to what's popular now...which there's certainly room, and a place for. And, the "growling" stuff has been around for a lot longer than most people think (a personal favorite of mine is the band Possessed...and they're more of a peer to the more popular bands like the Big Four than maybe something that came after). Again, this is just my take...but music's popularity in general, has always swung the way of what the kids and young fans are listening to, and spending their money on. I only hope I'm still alive when they realize how bad they're being ripped off from their hard-earned money by the amphibian sht trash that the music and recording industry has been spewing and pushing on em for the last decade or so. They should get REALLY pissed off, and they have EVERY right to be. Bands and artists should bare the brunt of it as well. One need only to look at what's predominantly being played on the "reaction" channels (and you've got a good one Swag, so keep it coming). I know that I'm generalizing here, so lower your hackles motards...there absolutely IS talent out there. It's just not being allowed to foster in lieu of the next "Andy Warhol, fifteen minutes of fame, flavor of the week" band or artist that pops up. Most don't actually know how to play an instrument anymore, much less read and/or write their own music, and that's very sad in my eyes. Touring is virtually dead except for a handful of bands and artists still doing it. I've got over two hundred concerts and live shows under my belt...and most kids and young fans of today will have to go through life NEVER having the opportunity to see their first one. There's no need for these "new/newer" bands and artists to better themselves at their craft (not having several thousand fans booing them off stage every other night because their material is "trash" tends to do that). Apologies for the rant...kids and young fans being hosed just pisses me the hell off...they deserve better...
This song has always been criminally underrated but the reasons why are still out there for ya. Captive Honour and Ashes in Your Mouth make this look average.
the problem is the cult that selects what music is played on the air. They allowed song that praise satan and upheld the carnal evil but dumped all other good music.
It's mind boggling that you are still the ONLY one on TH-cam to have reacted to this song!
A dangerous track to listen to whilst driving... you'll be doing a 100 before you've even realised your right foot is glued to the floor!
This album came out in 1992. Do their song Skin O My Teeth next.
Can’t agree more, my favorite Friedman solo. He fuckin kills it
This whole album is excellent 🤘 keep doing your thing man diversity is a good thing..the album was out in 1992 or 1993
Thanks for doing my request Swaggy, you are the best!!!!!The deep cuts are always the best, check out Captive Honor from the same album.
the aaaaahhhhh-splutch is still the best ending to any song ever

Thanks for this video, brother. This is awesome!

You always put a smile on my face!! I love it
1992. One of my first metal albums. That tape got flogged hard. Awesome album, good reaction too mate 👍
Fucken oath mate!🤘
Thanks for reacting to one of my favorite Megadeth songs. Dave loves to Sky Dive and that's what this song is about.
Tornado of souls!!!!

Thx for reacting to this one. For me...one of my favorite Megadeth songs. For sure underrated and almost forgotten. Hell to the yeah!!!
next megadeth song should be “Ashes In Your Mouth” same album :)
Most definitely. Best solo on the album!🤘
Your Megadeth reactions brought me to you and they’re awesome. You got me as a sub. Reckoning Day should be next. Captive Honour is great too.

Megadeth - Good Mourning/Black Friday
Kreator - Enemy Of God
I suggest to continue with this album !
This album is a technical powerhouse. Second only to Rust.
One of my favorites it was fun watching your reaction to this one but i wondered if you read the lyrics
You still have the best Megadeth reactions of all time.

Straight banger brother. Musicianship is off the friggin chain with this group.
Hell yeah! Song kicks ass!

It would also be a good transition into Conquering Dystopia (Keith Merrow and Megabeast, Jeff "Facehugger fingers" Loomis). Just sayin'
This song is about sky diving. This song means more to me after going sky diving.
I suppose you can call that sky diving. You pack a parachute, though. Right?
Pretty much every other song on this album is pretty badass it's always been one of my favorite highway jams lol

Don’t you just love how great guitar solos take you on a mental escape!! This song is from 1992 btw
That's Marty Friedman on that guitar solo. One of the best players ever man
Marty was the best hard metal guitarist, but I still Love Michael Schenker, and Alex Lifeson

Now try "foreclosure of a dream' on same album, great reaction my friend ❤️.
The unofficial anthem of the Airborne Corps.

Such a banger! I remember going through this at least twice a day when I was 14. Great times.
GOAT
did you check peace sells? an old megadeth classic with lovely vibes on solos
That album came out in 1992.
Great song, great album
Alot of people don't have an ear for Megadeth anymore sadly... And they are an old band too... I was 2 when this song came out. Lmao but I love Megadeth!!!
How could you say a song that's been around for 28 years now and is still is as relevant as when it came out in 1992 as being underrated?
Maybe because it's Luke the 8th most popular song on the album? Ig deserves more recognition
I hear you about starting and stopping. Looking at you, TH-cam.
ashes in your mouth off this album , its fire!!!!!
Ashes in your mouth dude, best song in the album im my opinion. Its a must hear for sure!
I can tell you like a metal song when you get your "stink face" on 😆👍
Now they're putting the yo do on you got to go from the hoodoo to the yo do then back then forward

How about ,Angry again, wake up dead, good mourning/black Friday! Just a few by Megadeth
Also Xanadu by RUSH, Alex Lifeson can does things nobody else can

Another Megadeth song with more than one interpretation. Could be about amphetamines, but it is in fact about skydiving.
excellent!

we can agree it's a great song though
@ Hahahahaha buying Countdown first is something I would've done. Dave is musically precise and lyrically concise. The allure never settles
