I grew up in WsM, work took me away some years ago. I was on the lifeboat crew so many hours spent on the old pier, great to see those really old photos with the water chute and the south jetty which were gone long before I was a twinkle. Latest news seems to be that Birnbeck will be restored to some of its former glory.
