You are definitely my soul sister! My mother is and was never into makeup or lipsticks but a few of my aunts were very particular about their vanity. Everytime they used to apply lipstick I used to be mesmerized seeing them do it. After a lot of buttering my mom allowed me to buy a MAC lipstick after I cleared my TYBA exam. That was my first lipstick. For years and years I used to tell myself that one day I will have my own lipstick collection. And today I'm soon going to count my 100th. My lipsticks are my friends they are my support. Their shades boost my mood. They make me look and feel good about myself. I love them like I love my books. They are all my prized possessions. They have a story and they are precious.

Though that was time wearing lipstick on regular basis was not quite normal.. only on marriage parties...
Today the concept has changed... we can experience on different colours, vide variety of llipstick,lip balm, lip gloss, art stick, etc.
Very relatable ! I dreamt of having my own vanity since childhood. In fact every time I scored well in exams I would drag my father to cosmetic shop to buy a lipstick or nail paint. Of course I was not allowed to wear them ,mummy was very strict. Fast forward to today I have lots of nail paints and lipsticks. That’s about all I have in make up. Finding Aparna’s channel was a lottery. Love being connected to her , a true lipstick lover and through her our lipstick loving community. We Rock 💖
Please do a video on your lipstick vanity. I love your lipstick collection. I love lipsticks because they lift up my day. They make me feel alive and fresh, no matter how stress I carry. There's a sense of calmness and joy when I apply it.
The shade range is gorgeous. Especially the Mac one. I so badly wish that brands don't test on animals and be cruelty free. No matter how beautiful the shade is, I can't bring myself to buy from brands which are not cruelty free and test on animals...
Lipstick makes me feel happy ❤️ makeup in general brings an element of myself out, the (literal) colourful side of me that probably can't be seen unless expressed in COLOUR. Also, makeup is a means of self expression and will usually reflect my mood, the clothes i wear for that day or just something extra that adds on to my personality. Makeup is a want 100%. I'm still me barefaced and with no makeup (i know) but i simply love expressing myself through makeup!! Having picked up makeup only in my twenties, i am still learning and perfecting it. Some really judge you by your makeup, right? Thanks to wonderful souls like you , Aparna i feel accepted and welcomed.

I love love love your videos! I am a lipstick addict and whenever I want to get a new shade,I always refer your videos and it never goes wrong! The only thing is that I can never manage to replicate that lovely smile of yours!! Do make a video on huda beauty power matte bullets..since its a high end lipstick I really can't take a risk on the wrong shade...if you swatch them,I can blindly get them! God bless you dear!!

Love the mac shade on you...also like the way you glide your lipstick with just one stroke on your lips and it's perfect...so nice to see that... like you said, I always get attracted by the packaging, but I don't buy them unless I try in store...so everytime I go out, I definitely try out a new brand to see if I can grab one... very happy to see your lipstick videos...

Love your content, especially the ones which involve lipstick. I still try controlling myself not to buy a new one and I fail miserably. Lipsticks lift up my mood. When I have a really bad day, just 6-7 swatches of my lipsticks can give me the energy which is equivalent to an espresso shot. Hoping to see your whole lipstick collection which would make my day. I looooove the Guerlain lipsticks!! I still have the lipstick holder...my lipsticks have expired...it's sad that Guerlain is not as commonly available as other luxury brands. I have to make a trip to Sephora or shop online from nykaa. Some of the shades aren't the same as they seem online, sadly. I had chosen two cream lipsticks and two matte. I must say, they were amazing!
