I am hoping to get back to posting, I'm very sporadic about it because of my anxiety and my ability to concentrate but I really miss it and I'm hoping to get back to sharing more stuff soon!
I totally understand! I do hope that you are well, and that you do come back eventually. Just know that I am INSPIRED by you, and that you are important (yes!) to those of us in the coloring community (even small fry like myself, just a hobby colorist for now). I truly like you, and your Voice….omg! And your simple yet effective deivery when you review, explain, and compare. I could (and do) watch your videos all the time. Thank you so much, that's really kind of you to say! I don't know, I really miss reviewing and vlogging etc but I don't seem to be able to get myself into a routine with it at all. I'm hoping that as my anxiety improves I might be able to manage more again. I never intended to be away this long.
@@ColouringInTheMidstOfMadness Don’t put any pressure on yourself. Just do it when you feel like it. That way it won’t feel like a job. If you put yourself on a forced schedule, that would be harder and less enjoyable.
Thank you for the review! Could you tell me if the paper is easier to color with pencils than the original Vilin San? You mentioned the Prismacolor issue some folks had. I have had issues with both Prismacolor as well as Faber Castell Polychromos in Vilin San. So much that it’s sometimes not as pleasurable to color in as the original book. You're so welcome! I'm really sorry to hear that you've had such issues with the Vilin San paper, that doesn't seem to be a common experience. Do you have any books published by the Dutch publisher BBNC? They all say MUS on the front and spine. The paper is the same in all of them. I have personally found it tricky with Polys but great with Prismas. Someone got in touch with me a couple of weeks ago and said they were having issues with Prismas but that doesn't seem to be a common problem. Unfortunately paper seems to differ through the stock sometimes and so occasionally one person has an issue that almost no one else then experiences, we also all colour differently which really doesn't help, I've found that some paper that people rave about is horrible for me to colour on but then there is paper I love that some can't stand. That probably doesn't help at all, sorry! I've found that this paper is better for wax-based pencils and it's very different from the Vilin San paper so if you're having issues with that then you shouldn't with this. Sorry if I've just confused you further!

Barbara Pluff I am purchasing thru Amazon.de (germany) .... got it along with Botanicum, together $42.00 which is only $21/book ... a lot cheaper than on Etsy for the Botanicum. I'm happy but will not be shipped til sometime in November but okay. Got the link from one of the online colorists but can't remember which one.
