Dabistan e Iqbal is an institute, situated in Lahore, founded by Dr. Javid Iqbal. It is run by the family of Allama Iqbal under the Presidency of Iqbal Salahuddin - Grandson of Allama Iqbal.
The sole purpose of this institution is to awaken the young generation of Pakistan to know their roots and to make them aware of the true essence of Islam i. e., Tauheed (Oneness of Allah) and Finality of Prophethood (PBUH) and the core values of Iqbal's pivotal thought i. e., Khudi (Self).

It belongs to the servant himself who feels the command of Allah within himself and agrees with him with this command, and everything is within his being to desire him, and what he does is what he wants to do. Allah does it with him and does not extend his hands to anyone, does not demand from anyone, his contact is with himself, then with the age of Allah, now it is with the soul, his body is one subject, he is called himself.

.. The power through which you reach to Allah is a very unique and supreme power..
This power is called khudi and how to increase this power so tha human will be able to achieve their ultimate goal of life is called falsafa a khudi.
Remember!ultimate goal of human being on this planet is to reconnect yourself again to that point from where you have been separated ,which is liqail Allah in Islam
If you will groom that supreme power in real meaning ,you will become master of this whole planets,every creation will be in you control because you will becom the khalifa a Khuda .

"Khudi" is that the prophet Dawood used to earn his bread by having a labor along side dispensing his responsibilities as a King. But about Dr. Allama Iqbal (ra), I am unaware that how he earned his livelihood.
