The cop being forced to pull out his gun all while extremely confused is the most absurd and yet perfect part of this video. It's where he realizes that he's not in control anymore.
Yeah, I think it helps the psychological horror/comedy. It invokes those moments where previously you thought "I'm better than that", "I would never make the same mistakes" but you end up in that same situation and you react the same as everyone else does. Even though you know how it's all going to turn out you still play out one mistake after another like someone stomping on the breaks after the lines have failed. It's horrible. Also hilarious.

no, just put yourself in that situation the cop might be thinking he just killed someone and didnt stop it, would you kill someone 'for just a ticket'? well no you wouldnt obviously thats why his sanity' went down fast enough to have him leave everything and just run not thinking of the consequences
I’m convinced this isn’t even the first cop he’s pulled this trick on. Imagine there is an entire station of officers that have had an encounter with that man, becoming an urban myth amongst the station.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if this actually happened somewhere on planet earth, we just wouldn’t have known about it because the cops just decided to not report on it

@@Sticknub I wouldn't normally respond, but I've seen this attitude a few times and just wanna straighten this out for people who worry about how expanding the team might change the content or attitude- All 20somthing of us are here with passion for the project, mike had help with stuff like character design, writing, voice acting, backgrounds, and music, for YEARS already. - Only difference now is we just got more people on board who love making these particular silly cartoons on storyboarding and animation proper and training them to emulate the house/mikes style, so we can do more with the time we have, and mike has heavy oversight on everything he's not directly working on, way more than most directors. Piemations / Mike is not a soulless corporation for getting help or transitioning to a small studio, if it's gonna be different, were going for GOOD different, more content while keeping up the quality - do you know how much work animation is 💀

I like how on 0:40, you can just view what the driver says in both perspectives. One where he’s just repeating what officers usually say, and another where he actually just wants to step out of the car.
I like to think that the guy in the video can do this because he has been pulled over so many times he has memorized basically anything a police officer can say.

You know those moments you think you’ve lived so long that nothing excites you to level it once did as a child. This literally made me uncontrollably happy. My stomach hurts from laughing and my hope in feeling raw emotion has been restored

I think they stopped watching after the credits. I like those little bits at the end, a gentle reminder to sit through the credits. It's cool to see it there.
I can imagine this being the intro to a reality-based comical TV show where like the dad is the protagonist and he goes on these crazy adventures with his son
This is genuinely beyond filled with personality, charm and creativity. TH-cam is a hard platform for Animators to survive in, but fortunately, with enough luck on one's side, animators can _thrive,_ and I couldn't be happier about it! Things like Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel and unsurprisingly, *you,* are perfect examples of this. Wish more aspiring young animators and underrated professionals who do not get enough respect would have this kind of luck, but it is comforting to know that at least some get this kind of luxury.
Fun fact: the guy that’s imitating what’s said by an officer in the scenario of getting pulled over is the same guy from the end of the “Can I get uhhh sequel?” Video honking at the quartet, which is why you can see a bag of buddy’s in his car, it’s all connected
