The first time I heard the song "Huwag Ka Ng Mawawala," I thought it's a very beautiful song. The melancholic melody always hunts me. I keep listening different versions of it including Ogie's. They're all good. I just recently learnt that Ogie is the composer. Wow! How come I don't hear Regine's version. I imagine the songbird would sing this song that would blow our brains out. Surprisingly, I was a treat to be able to hear Regine's version impromptu. Bravo Regine and Ogie. (lots of hearts)

I’ve had 3 encounters with Regine in my lifetime.. first was in one of our gatherings at the ANTEVA Foundation in high school. We were both scholars by Antonio Evangelista then and she was still using her real name China. 2nd time was in college when she visited an affair of the UE theatre chorale. Last time was when I flew to the US in 2001 and behold seated next to me at the business class was Regine. That was her first trip to the US after her visa was canceled years before that when her staff jumped ship and went tnt. She was very friendly and charming even back then. Really very gifted
