You could see wales next year get tanked by Scotland in Murrayfield. Scotland should maybe win 3 games next year wales and Italy at home I can see them win those I'm not sure If they can beat at home Ireland or France away. they may win at Twickenham.
Love it when you guys come to Murrayfield. Always the best atmosphere (though the France game is a good second). Hoping your travails are soon behind you.
@@jasongauld2311 incorrect - if you go to the Autumn Nations Series channel and find this match, they have a replay from behind the Australia try zone- use the TH-cam playback speed option at 0.25 and pause at min 0:37 which corresponds to the release of the throw - lineout was approximately 4m before the 5m line, Tuipilotu was 1m inside the 22m line so 21m minus 9m = 12metres which is more than the required 10m
good fun game with a few handbags thrown in, errors on each side and finns kicking average today, scotland tackle count outstanding and scots worthy winners
I think it's safe to say that Big Sione Tuipulotu is the world's best 12. Him or DDA. I hope it's not too cheesy to say this but Sione and his brother, while obviously half Tongan, they look like their mum. They have her head shape also, wow Scotland are strong.
I'm a Scotland fan. I'd say we're quite a similar side to Australia - amazing backs but when we face the Boks or Ireland there's a small lack of power. As for Oz - overall a good tour for them. If they play their game they're hard to beat. Unearthing a Tony Daly or Ewen McKenzie in the right 5 would make a big difference.
No, we aren’t. We are miles ahead of Australia. They have beaten 2 humpty teams, who Scotland have dominated in recent years and will continue to do so. Australia…..LOL
@HibeeMcbee Wales who knows but I disagree England are a 'humpty' team. They finished above us in the 6N, beat Ireland which came after reaching the rwc semi where they really could have beaten SA. They're very difficult to beat at Twickenham. It's certainly something we've rarely done and the Wallabies haven't done recently. Inconsistent maybe a better description than humpty.
Scotand were the better side on the day well done by them but it also come down playing Skelton Wilson and Valintini together who cannot jump. First Half Scotland created so many lineouts which was their advantage. Felt this week I going to call Joey, Eddie Junior since he made the same mistake Eddie made in the world cup. Forgot how important the lineout is in a game of Rugby.
Australia really, really need to learn how to tackle better. They could have (maybe should have) won this game, but you can't give away as many opportunities as they did and expect success. Well done Scotland - you have a very good team.
@@shugmchugh5107 better tackling = less points scored / on the other side it would have allowed more opportunities to score on attack. The winning score was 27-13 with the Aussies denied a try (rightfully) at the death. But it could have ended 27-20. Ergo better tackling, coupled with the opportunities that presents on attack means Aussie could have won. They didn't of course, but their trajectory is headed in the right direction.... unless they don't learn to tackle.
6 KICK-OFF OF UNDER 10 METRES BUT PLAYED BY AN OPPONENT If the ball does not reach the opponent’s 10-metre line but is first played by an opponent, play goes on.
Carlo Tizzano for Australia is a very good player. Guy has aim assist on his tackles and strong threat over the ball too. Gave away 3 penalties this game for ruck infringements but 2 of them were pretty harsh calls.
Good for Scotland to beat Australia. England couldn’t do it with much more resources. Last few years Scotland have improved and are at the level they should be now. Wonder if they will ever win the 6 nations as I think this coming one will be 35 years since their last championship. That’s really terrible, but they are in the mix again with Wales so poor at least they won’t be getting the wooden spoon.
Australian Press way ahead of themselves, as usual, predicting a Grand Slam - but losing this game, and I expect them to be thumped by Ireland, meaning they got exactly half the job done. Time to turn on the cricket.....
You might want to rethink that... India’s making our lads look absolutely clueless at the mo. The Wallabies are at least threatening to compete with the elite. They’re a couple of rungs below the top 5 teams, but they’re slowly heading in the right direction.
This Scottish side is a contender for the World Cup! The captain was great and so was the 10. Arguably the best side in Europe atm Hopefully they don’t become stupid and fill their side with DEI like the Wallabies. That destroys cohesion!
Australia failed to play attacking rugby. Scotland under-utilised van de Merwe by failing to spread the ball. Last season 78% of kicks for the corner instead of going for points didn't lead to tries for the Wallabies. Thankfully Scotland failed like-wise or the final score could have been higher. Still think the Wallabies will surprise in Dublin provided Kamala Harris is not officiating.
Van der Merwe, Schoeman, Tuipulotu … Scotland need to focus on building their local talent. 20% of the starting 15 not Scottish .. it becomes a bit of joke!!
total BS, pretty much every rugby national side (indeed almost all international sport) includes ELIGIBLE players who might have been born elsewhere, or had extended heritage connections, or had to migrate as refugees, or married into another nationality- the Scotland team: 1 x Australia, 1 x New Zealand, 1 x Canada, 3 x South Africa, 4 x England, 13 x Scotland ~ the Australia team: 2 x England, 5 x New Zealand, 16 x Australia - even the Portugal side had multiple French-born players in this series
Yes, just check out the actual stats. Ireland/England also have far more foreign players than you might expect. But for some reason it is always Scotland that get the mention on this subject.
No it was a good performance against Australia's strongest 15. Maybe you should watch the games before making such comments - avoid looking so silly in the future
thrashed?! I guess you only looked at the final score instead of watching the match- even with less than 15 mins to go the score was Scotland 15-19 South Africa

Aussie here - fair play Scotland, the better team won. And it's a handy reality check for the Wallabies and we their supporters. 👌
Scotland is improving iam a 🇫🇯 Fijian , Scotland is really up the notch despite the loss to Springboks kast weekend
This is a very good Scottish side.
Scotland side, not Scottish side.
Congratulations to Scotland, great entertaining rugby.
As an England fan well done you Scots.
Good to see us win a game despite making so many mistakes. A very mature performance against a strong wallabies team
Strong Aus team, that won 1/6 rugby championship games. They are better but still weaker then Arg and nowhere near SA or NZL.
@@jjnxyz4368😂 shut up eh.
They pumped England and Wales. Which one are you from?
Australia had poor defence today plus chip kicked the ball away on their 22 and Scots scored straight away.
You're a wizard Harry
Well done Scotland and the young players doing their part 😀😀😀👍👍👍
Great to watch. Well done Scotland. They could give us a rattle🇮🇪
Many congrats to Scotland,a very good win, continue on this way...😉❤️🔥🍾
Well done Scotland - a good team playing a good game
Scotland 🏴 looking very good. Might surprise a few people in the 6N! Well played.
Feels like you could copy and paste this comment the last 5 years.
From South Africa - Scotland are a top 5 team watch out Argentina
Just need a few more imports to go even higher!
Great tries by Scotland 🏴
Impressive win against an improving Australian side
Scotland were on fire 🔥
Scotland are on the up in Rugby AND football. They have some serious talent in that rugby squad.
Wtf 12 caught it from a lineout ran flat and scored? ive never seen that ever 🔥
2m offside in all

When Scotland put it all together, they are a top team. Consistency across a match has always been our problem.😊

Agree really reminded me of the caves in Stardew. Really looking forward to being able to pick this up thanks for the review.
Thanks for posting
