After you finish framing the House, I may suggest to preheat it, if you have a kerosine blow torch, it is exellent to use, if you don’t have then resort to dreid leaves, where you can roll it over then fired it, then proceed to preheating of all bamboo Frame. It can extend the life of bamboo for several years, there were another procedure when you were near the sea, just ferment the bamboo material in the sea about an hour is enough. The best is heating the Bamboo , termite will not inhabit and eat the Bamboo. Green color Bamboo it mean not matured enough, the somewhat Brown Color is more matured, I am from Philippine, we make Bamboo house.By the way, there were leared lesson about buildinhg a bamboo house, I prefer to put the Bamboo Coulum on a stone, we Pilipinos call it Putting, termite could not come in the house, and frequetly spray with Kerosen.

If you were my wife we would be making these together and coat them with hemp concrete. I grow hemp and sell hemp concrete and they go well with bamboo.

Sorry, unless that’s just a completely dif kind of bamboo, how did she get the entire thing hollow? Bc they grow separate from each segment.
Long hard skinny pole that's sharp, or got a metal poker of some kind on the tip.

Phần dựng khung nhà ban đầu gồm 4 cột đứng và 4 thanh ngang và 4 cọc ngắn không nên cắt bỏ. Nửa đầu video clip nên lược bỏ. Thao tác nào lặp đi lặp lại thì trình chiếu 1 lần thôi.
Lúc nối ghép các thanh tre với nhau thì nên quay camera gần vào.
Nói chung cần cải thiện phần quay phim và edit video

With no treatment of the bamboo, it will all rot and fall apart in 3-5 years from my experience building with bamboo in southern Japan.
So, quick question then, am I crazy? Or does bamboo have dividers between the segments?
Just asking from trying to cut some in Florida and “dicking around” with it.
It’s really fibrous but so far it seems like every chamber in the stalk is sealed off to itself…if makes sense?
@@jonwalker8945 Hi John. I’m still here in Japan where timber bamboo 30~60+’ tall grow covering entire mountainsides. Yes, you are right. What you are calling ‘dividers’ which are rings around the stalk or ‘culm’ of the bamboo are what are called ‘nodes’. They do grow completely through the culms creating separate segments of the bamboo stalk. What are you using the bamboo for?

Long term project though: I really want to make one of those bamboo fountains that make the ‘clunk’ sound, after filling the other section.

May have wrong name, they have a thorn at the tip and if you rip it right it’s basically a sewing needle with its own thread.?
