We used a digital mixer fire wired to a PC thru a recording software and all done live in separate tracks.

i like your version than Nora Jone's and/or Diana Krall's. Thay're just too much jazzy, while you're just enough....
I an effort to be original in their stylings too many singers lose the beauty of this song. This singer has the voice to sing it "straight", but chooses to be clever instead.
Leo makes this look easy. But it's not. OK. Maybe for her.

What's with the shouting "my wildest dreams". The song is a plaintive ballad.
