LOVEBITES - The highest form of advanced civilisation on the Kardaschev scale....build me a Dyson Sphere and harness the power of all the universe ladies.
LOVEBITES are different. They are women. They wear white dresses. The lyrics are more from women's point of view, some are uplifting. The musicianship is outstanding. The vocalist is a great frontwoman who knows how to enthrall the audience. Just a few good reasons that made LOVEBITES my favorite band.

Welcome to LOVEBITES, they play heavy metal and they play it damn good, these ladies are friggin awesome, pick a song, any song as there are NO BAD songs, they are all multitalented, want to rock some more....Holy War, slow it down a bit, Frozen Serenade, come down the rabbit hole, you will enjoy the journey
Best band in metal, imho. Talent through the roof all around and no other lead duo compares to Midori and Miyako in today's metal genre, whoever the runner ups are...are not even close. Have been listening to them 24/7 for the last 6mos and it never gets old! This is a rabbit hole worth exploring that's for sure!! And the one (Miyako) playing the Dean was 4mos pregnant during this show; she's a beast!! 🐺
you´ve witnessed their musician skills, their performance live, their charismatic, relaxed and selfassured appearance. but their greatest asset imho is their composition skills. backcatalogue around 50 songs, not one bad or mediocre one ...
their songwriting and musicianship is second to none. all of their own material - all jaw dropping to the point of absurdity. and pretty easy on the eyes as well. their catalog awaits you with no disappointments
Great reaction. That 1 of their many amazing songs and shows. you will amaze every time watching them live. Welcome to beautifull world of heavy metal by Lovebites! React more.🤘👍
Welcome to Lovebites! They’re highly polished professionals and they mean business. Their new bassist auditions are over so they should be announcing soon when they come out of hiatus.
@@StrateleStudios nobody knows. They kept the process very hush but they opened it to “any sex, any age, any race or ethnicity, or any nationality.” The Wolfpack have speculated many candidates. But whoever they selected will have big shoes to fill to replace Miho. Miho suffered the loss of her father and it may have played into her difficult decision to leave the band. It shocked the Wolfpack when news of her departure broke.
@@StrateleStudios They released an audition track and several bass players uploaded their auditions to TH-cam but we do not know of any of the results. Here are Miyako and Midori playing the audition track - th-cam.com/video/-UDIGCvz2X0/w-d-xo.html
Since their debut in 2016, LOVEBITES' sound source has been sent to Finnvox Studios, one of Finland's oldest and most prestigious studios, where they are mixed and mastered by Mikko Carmila and Mika Jussila, respectively. They are a Finnish dream engineer team that has worked on numerous works by heavyweights in the Nordic metal scene such as NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, STRATOVARIUS and AMORPHIS.
@@StrateleStudios Japanese metal is awesome right now. I recommend Nemophila 'Dissension' or Hanabie 'We Love Sweets'. Both bands had debut full length albums in 2021. Nemophila is more standard metal while Hanabie is more creative and unorthodox. Hanabie is a highschool band gone pro. Only the drummer is new. Nemophila is women from a bunch of different bands who were assembled. Their drummer was a star on TH-cam doing drum covers for a Japanese audience. She has 220k subscribers on her personal TH-cam channel I assume mostly before she was in Nemophila. It's all in Japanese but I recognized her from the Nemophila covers that they made for TH-cam during Covid. They have a bunch of covers on their official channel which are all great. There is a playlist of cover songs. The singer doesn't know English and sings the English songs phonetically. But you'd never know.
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Lovebites is one of the best bands in our country. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
This was a really cool reaction! I like your first emotions! Welcome to the world of Lovebites' music. They are definitely goddesses of metal. For me this band is the best band for almost a year. Their music always impresed. They always (almost always) wear white clothes and look like ancient Greek goddesses. They always play amazing solos. You should check out more their songs. I suggest you the song "Holy war" - I think, this is the most popular their song and it is really awesome. And you can check out something different - more melodic song "Swan song with Shopin intro". You will be impressed. Thank you for your reaction. Welcome to the Wolfpack :) Waiting for more reactions to Lovebites. Lovebites have 45 songs in their catalog (plus a 2 minute instrumental) and have been around since 2016. The band was formed by Miho, the bassist and a true metalhead. Unfortunately she left the band a year ago and the band have been auditioning for a new bassist, with an announcement hopefully very soon. I also hope they announce the new bassist with a new song and music video. Almost half the songs were written by Miyako, the guitarist on stage left, including Set The World On Fire. On top of being a world-class composer and guitarist, she is also a world-class classical pianist. It has probably been mentioned, but during this concert Miyako was about 4 months pregnant. My suggestions for the next songs would be a Miyako masterpiece called Swan Song with her Chopin intro and the only song cowritten by Miho and Miyako called Break The Wall. Swan Song - th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html Break The Wall - th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
You jumped in the deep end! Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Don’t Bite the Dust” th-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/w-d-xo.html, from the same concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: th-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/w-d-xo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: th-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/w-d-xo.html; “Holy War”: th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html Miyako is also a professional-level concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” th-cam.com/video/G021aP2ao6Y/w-d-xo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” th-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/w-d-xo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" th-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/w-d-xo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" th-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/w-d-xo.html "Glory to the World" th-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/w-d-xo.html "Winds of Transylvania" th-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/w-d-xo.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
@Hiawatha G, I have watch previously Stratele Studios when he reacted to Matteo Mancusso and the Drift Lab project, and his other reactions are to prog, fusion and jazz. His music interest such as to weather report, RTF, and players like the late Jaco pastorius puts his interest on a similar musical landscape as yours. So if he is reacting to Lovebites ( which caught me by surprise) with that manifest appreciation, that would augment my high regards for these ladies. BTW, I have listened to the Crazy army by Steve Gadd and Senri, Will revert to you on this one. 😀
Thanks for the reaction! LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy , power , thrash metal ! In 2018 , LOVEBITES won the prestigious Metal Hammer GOLDEN GODS Award for "Best New Band" (London,UK). The winners of the GOLDEN GODS Award in different years and in various categories were such famous bands and musicians, such as : Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Twisted Sister, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister, Zakk Wylde, Nikki Sixx, Joe Perry, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Slayer, Saxon, Nightwish, Rammstein, Sabaton, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy (and this is not a complete list). LOVEBITES is a Japanese female power metal band, formed in 2016 by former Japanese heavy metal band DESTROSE members Miho( bass, backing vocals) and Haruna(drums). The band has successfully performed at various major international rock-festivals many times .In the spring of 2018, LOVEBITES performed on the Japanese leg of the Warped Tour. In August 2018, they performed at Wacken Open Air (Germany), becoming the first Japanese female rock band to perform at the festival. Also in August 2018 they performed on the main stage of Bloodstock Open Air (UK). In 2019, LOVEBITES performed at the Download Festival in both Donington (UK) and Madrid (Spain). Their performance in Donington was named by the festival organizers and Metal Hammer magazine as one of the highlights of the festival! In the same year they performed at the Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) and the Summer Sonic Festival (Japan). Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic that began in 2020 prevents LOVEBITES from performing at festivals and forced a drastic reduction of concerts. LOVEBITES is a phenomenal band, all the ladies are talented musicians! For 5 years they have recorded about 50 songs and all the songs are very good! 🐺Miho - bass, backing vocals (in August 2021 she left the band). 🐺Haruna - drums. 🐺Midori - guitars, backing vocals. 🐺Miyako (Mi-Ya)- guitars, piano, keyboards, backing vocals. 🐺Asami - lead vocals, piano. 🐺Miho started playing bass in high school. Great bass player! The fact that such a wonderful band appeared is, first of all, the merit of Miho. She came up with the idea of starting a band and what kind of music the band would play, a combination of power metal and "old school" heavy metal. Miho was able to find and unite all these talented ladies in LOVEBITES. 🐺Haruna has played drums since she was thirteen years old, and began writing songs on a keyboard at fourteen. Haruna is the smallest (4 '9 ") , but appearances are deceiving. When Haruna sits down at the drums, this is the "little BIG Engine." She is one of the best drummers in Japan. 🐺Midori (blond hair) has been playing the piano since she was two years old and the electric organ since she was eight. She started studying guitar at the age of 20. Super guitarist, "Crazy Shredder". She surpasses many male guitarists in speed and technique of playing the guitar. Graduated from ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka , GIT-DX department (superfast guitar department). ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka is an international music school , headquartered in Hollywood, California, USA. 🐺Miyako (black hair) has been playing the piano since the age of three, received a classical education (piano) and wanted to pursue a career as a pianist. She has been playing the guitar since the age of 18. Super guitarist! They call her "The Golden Touch" and she is a real musical genius. Miyako is the main composer of the band, she wrote over 50% of the music. * In terms of teamwork , synchronization and harmonization of guitars , Midori and Miyako today are perhaps the best pair of guitarists in the world playing metal. One music critic said that two guitarists of this level (Midori and Miyako) in the same band is a crime!😊 🐺Asami started with R&B and soul music . She studied classical ballet for about 16 years (this is noticeable in her movements on stage, especially the movements of her hands). Started ballet lessons at the age of two. After leaving school, Asami lived for some time in the US, where she came to study jazz and hip hop dance. Plays the piano. Asami wrote most of the lyrics of the band's songs. All songs LOVEBITES are written in English. Unlike other metal bands, LOVEBITES are always on stage in white dresses . White dresses are their style. The Wolf is the mascot of LOVEBITES and is featured on all band's albums except the first EP "The Lovebites". The band's fans call themselves the 🐺Wolfpack🐺
Well, you’ve just witnessed greatness. These women are extremely talented, skillful, versatile and proficient musicians. They really shine in their live performances. You’ve just scratched the tip of the iceberg. Some people say that they are redefining metal or that they are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Asami was a R&B, soul, jazz singer before she joined Lovebites, and Miyako is a concert level pianist.
Great reaction. if you want to see another great solo by them well they are all great in my opinion. listen to winds of Transylvania, shadowmaker Rising The Crusade and scream for me. If you want to see a different side of them listen to Epilogue and swan song with the Chopin intro. Miyako the black haired guitar player is a virtuoso on piano as well
It’s no exaggeration to say that there is no other band on planet earth playing to this standard, and who have all the other attributes Lovebites have (song writing, positive lyrics, impeccable arrangements, unbelievably precise technique, world class vocals, ridiculously fast but incredibly inventive drumming, especially her use of chimes and cymbals.) To this already impressive list add the fact that the tallest member of the band is only 5’5”, the guitarist with the blonde streaks has been well placed in bikini body building shows, the vocalist actually performs ballet in one track at this gig and the guitarist with the Dean was a few months pregnant when she appeared here and, for good measure, is a fully trained concert pianist who taught herself guitar from a book aged 18 (14 years ago). Their personalities are unassuming and friendly, they smile through 90% of their shows and yes, they’re all beautiful… Their fans have adopted the name “the Wolfpack” after the band’s symbolic use of wolves in album artwork and we’re ferociously loyal and vociferous in our support on reaction channels because the girls deserve to be household names yet are barely noticed outside Japan, and trail behind bigger names like band Maid and BabyMetal. I guarantee two things, if you like this song then you’ll like the entire catalogue. I’m 62 and I’ve never in my life encountered a band who didn’t have at least one album filler per album. In 4 EP’s and 3 albums they have none. Not one. That’s not bias, though it is opinion but ask anyone familiar with the band and they’ll say the same. The other promise is that every performance you see of this band is to this standard. Lovebites have no flaws and no equals. And may I say I love it when someone far more knowledgeable about music than me confirms everything I think when they encounter the band for the first time.
Great analysis and comments! Despite being such a wonderful and flawless band, there are almost no people in Japan who know about "Love Bites". (Unfortunately, even though Babymetal's name is known, Love Bites is neither known nor known to exist.)
You are correct. I am a huge Babymetal fan, and around the same age as you, but it's such a shame this band isn't bigger worldwide than they are. One thing for sure, if/when they ever come back to the UK I'll be there.
@@wildething7923 様、 I am very grateful that Japanese bands are more appreciated overseas than in Japan. Thank you so much to everyone in the world! 日本のバンドが、日本国内よりも海外で評価されている事に、私は大きな感謝をしたいです。 世界中の皆さん、本当にありがとうございます!

Great reaction, thank you so much! 😊 Oh yes, bring it home, ladies! 😂 5:47 And so do we, the fans! 😂 No concerns needed in terms of the drummer (Haruna). She is the merciless, reliable pacegiver. Always. I call her "Ms. Metronome" or "Ms. Happily Smiling Clockwork". 😊 5 female geniusses of music, conquering the world of Metal. 😄 🐺
I love Haruna's (drummer) little white gloves she wears. Plus, she is one of the best technical drummers out there. She also is nicknamed "little big engine" she's 4'10"
ohh now you are listening to LOVEBITES !! Love them. Add another Japanese band and you have the 2 best Japanese bands and absolutely incredible musicians. It's Bandmaid. Try a song. BAND-MAID / DOMINATION (Official Live Video). Lovebites and Bandmaid are incredible musicians.
And we have another Lovebitten reactor! Welcome to the wolfpack. Yes indeed, these ladies are more than legit, they are as good as anyone else playing metal right now, with a guitar duo equal to the best in the business. They play several styles of heavy metal as well as rock and soft ballads. Every song is top tier quality. Now do "Holy War" live from 2021. th-cam.com/video/2WEkVd5JrFI/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction video dude. I've been a fan of Heavy Metal (a Metal-er) since the mid-80's when I was in Junior High after the first two Metal songs I ever heard, which were Haunting The Chapel by Slayer and Ride The Lightning by Metallica. And it's kind of funny how I first heard Lovebites. One day a couple months ago either this video or the video for their Live performance of Holy War from 2020 (I can't remember which of those two videos it was) was the very first submission in the list of recommended videos. I've been a fan ever since. And that ties in to me having been a Metal-er since the mid-80's. By that I mean I love how Lovebites gives homage to the bands from back in the 80's to mid-90's such as Slayer and Metallica and Iron Maiden and Megadeth and Armored Saint and Metal Church and occasionally even a hint of Bolt Thrower (as well as many other bands), and while giving respect to their influences also puts their own unique style of playing into the mix and makes their own unique style of Heavy Metal. One thing I can't understand is how some people refer to Lovebites as "power metal", and that's simply because as a TRUE Metal-er I know that ORIGINALLY there were only 6 TRUE subcategories of Heavy Metal: 1 - Heavy Metal; 2 - Punk Metal; 3 - Speed Metal; 4 - Thrash Metal; 5 - Death Metal; 6 - Black Metal. With that being said, I personally believe that Lovebites falls into three of those subcategories of Metal, which are Heavy and Speed and Thrash. I also love how Miyako and Midori use their contrasting styles of playing on guitar to push each other to even greater heights. To me hearing those two play is somewhat reminiscent of what it might have sounded like if Kerry King from Slayer and Kirk Hammett from Metallica had ever played on stage together back in their early days. And to me Haruna's drum style seems slightly reminiscent of Paul Bostaph and even occasionally a bit of Dave Lombardo (and actually the song Soldier Stands Solitarily from their new album Haruna's style of playing leaves Paul Bostaph out the mix, and to me sounds more like a slight combination of Dave Lombardo and Tim "The Missile" Yeung), but with her own unique style of playing. One of the reasons Haruna is sometimes referred to as 'the Pocket Nuke', because she absolutely kills it on drums. Most of the so-called 'Metal' bands that have come around in the past couple decades are basically pretending to be Metal, but then occasionally you get a band like Lovebites who are TRUE Heavy Metal. My opinion is that Lovebites not only sets the bar for what Heavy Metal should sound like, but Lovebites ARE the bar for what TRUE Heavy Metal should sound like. And seeing as how Lovebites debuted in 2016 and then played at Wacken in 2018, my opinion is that it won't be long before Lovebites not only tours the Western Hemisphere (especially here in the US) but also plays Wacken again, and most likely on the Main Stage next time. They definitely are that good. Just my own personal opinion anyway. But regardless, again great reaction video dude. Oh and by the way, you have a new subscriber.

They are at least the equal to every metal band I have ever heard since 1971 (when I was 11 and heard Zeppelin). Best guitar duo I have ever heard. The bass player is gone (original founder) and Lovebites 2.0 is about to kick off with a yet announced new bassist.
Looking like puppets but punching like heavyweights. Awesome skills and really interesting musical stuff going on. The singer surprised me the most because she is so small but her voice is really trained and powerful, she doesn´t need to fake it through post production. Great stuff! The band name is really cool too in many ways ❤🩹😈
LOVEBITES the best heavy metal band existing on planet earth 🌏 Swan Song with Chopin beginning should be your next reaction. Whatever thanks for your reaction 🤘 Glory to Lovebites 🤘 🐺 🔥 Miho! Miho! Miho! 🤘🐺🔥😍
First; Next Lovebites - "Swan Song + Chopin Etude" There are 200+ rock/metal bands in Japan with about half all female, and most of the other with 1 or 2 females. The #1 Band is Band Maid, who will be touring the US in October, 13 cities mostly sold-out. Nemophila fairly new, played the Whiskey A Go Go 1 July, sellout. So some suggestions; Band Maid - "Freedom" live, "No God" live full up or Acoustic Nemophila - "Monsters", "A Ray of Light" And just for fun - Hanabie - "We Love Sweets" some college girls.
For the Thrash Metal fan in me, this live version of "Set the World on Fire" as well as the live performances of "Break the Wall" and "The Hammer of Wrath" (the latter preceded by the intro "The Awakening") from their 2020-show at Zepp DiverCity are my overall faves by them so far! Lovebites is a fantastic band! Unfortunately bassist Miho, founder, left the band to dedicate herself to her personal life. Everyone cheers for her. I hope that, even so, the Lovebites have a long career. Please more reacts with Lovebites! Many fell in love with the band and went back to listening to heavy metal - I'm one of them, I confess. I haven't heard anything since the vinyl days. Congratulations on the reaction! It was authentic and thrilling. 🎸🎸🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘

Interesting review from a producer. 🤘 I hope you also check out their songs Frozen Serenade and Edge Of The World. Btw nice Nightwish t-shirts, Lovebites and Nightwish have the same sound engineer in mixing and mastering.
Try my favorite Lovebites song: "Raise Some Hell" from Five of a Kind 21/02/2020. Actually, you can't go wrong with any Lovebites song. I just prefer live, for obvious reasons.
Awesome!! Lovebites are amazing, but im biased so you will have to see for yourself!! 🤘🐺🤘 After you do Break the Wall next, i suggest you one of their ballads, A Frozen Serenade - th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html This band has fantastic song writing in addition to their phenomenal technical skills!! Enjoy!!
I know you are Jeff, but obviously not Jeff Lynne. Interesting to hear you've played also with ELO and with Rick Wakeman. From UK comes the best bands in the world. David Bowie has allways been my great love. I have all his albums. In his consert in Helsinki I cried almost through the whole consert just to breath the same air with him. All his songs are fantastic. Yet 2 less heard are "Wild Is The Wind" (Nina Simone cover) and "Lady Grinning Soul".
You look familiar to me, from Wagakki Band reaction may be. The guitarist with a Dean is a Dean ambassador and has her own signature model. If you want know their talents, try Swan Song with Revolutionary Etude th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html. It's an epic song and you need to hold your jaw tight. If you want to know the bassist, try A Frozen Serenade th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html. It's a most beautiful progressive and I just love the bass line. Or, Eagle Fly Free Helloween cover th-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/w-d-xo.html has got solos of full chorus of each member.
@@StrateleStudios Good, WB is a great band too. BTW, the best point of the bassist of Lovebites is that she keeps tightly tie with the drummer. She never leaves the drummer for having her own fun. Hence they make the perfect rhythm section for the band.
Oh ya, I've seen Band Maid. I believe I did a reaction on Patreon for them. These ladies seem more technical in comparison...which you know I love, hahaha
Thank you so much for David Bowie's Hidden Gems. I watched 5 of them. I Remembered the Survive and Always Chrashing in The Same Car. Was it not Iggy Pop as Jasmin sitting next to Bowie? You did not analyze 'Thursdays Child'. It is heart breaking song where you can feel Bowie's pain, anxiety and feeling of being lost. Bowie had such a big heart. He rescued Mott The Hoople from breaking up the band by writing a song All the Young Dodes. I wish you would also do ROXY MUSIC and their 1970's albums with great Brian Eno. Bryan Ferry means a lot to me but not his solo career at all. Somehow I think you are stationed in London UK not US. Am I right...? Hard to believe that anyone in US would understand Bowie as you do.
I had not heard that Jasmine was Iggy Pop but I wouldn't be surprised! Ah, Thursday Child would have definitely qualified as a gem and if I do more of these I'll add that one to the list. So many wonder stories about DB. I LOVE Roxy Music too! ah man those Brian Eno days, wow! th-cam.com/video/BonWfTW7jKc/w-d-xo.html soooo good! Hahaha, you'd think I was in the UK but I'm just an odd American with UK taste. hahaha. I love the Brit culture (comedy, tv, music, etc.) Where do you live?
@@StrateleStudios Oh yes, Bowie was dtiving in Berlin that cheap but lovely MB .(1954 model with rabbit skin steering wheel) which Iggy bought him and wenr to buy cocaine. They saw a dealer who Bowie thought screwed him over a deal. Bowie started ramming him, rammed so that the guy was mortally terrified for his life. After that stoned from his head off Bowie thought ' what am I doing!' and drove around the undeground car park in full speed until the car run out of fuel just before he plannrd to let go of the steering wheel.
Metal goddecies really bite you! Bassist and founder of the band MIHO left the band last year 2021. Different perspectives in life made her realize she did no longer see herself as a musician.

just to let you know alot of people say Miyako the black hair guitarist has being the best guitarist to ever come out of japan and if you want to hear more of Lovebites these are their best songs you should react to them all Holy War, Thunder Vengeance, Rising, Raise Some Hell, Edge of the World, Glory to the World, Swan Song with Chopin intro, Epilogue, Empty Daydream, When Destines Align, Shadowmaker and Eagles Fly Free please react to them all and please let me know what you think
Then maybe you should look for a band with no professional skills at all? So that they could not play musical instruments at all and could not sing 🤣 I think you will enjoy it then.

LOVEBITES 🐺 INCREDIBLE
LOVEBITES are different. They are women. They wear white dresses. The lyrics are more from women's point of view, some are uplifting. The musicianship is outstanding. The vocalist is a great frontwoman who knows how to enthrall the audience. Just a few good reasons that made LOVEBITES my favorite band.
It's not different for a Japanese metal band to be women:)

Yes, they all are great composers.
Here for my daily Lovebites fix 🐺
Break the wall, thunder vengeance, holy war, shadowmaker, we the united.
their songwriting and musicianship is second to none. all of their own material - all jaw dropping to the point of absurdity. and pretty easy on the eyes as well. their catalog awaits you with no disappointments
Great reaction. That 1 of their many amazing songs and shows. you will amaze every time watching them live. Welcome to beautifull world of heavy metal by Lovebites! React more.🤘👍
Best band on the planet.
Lovebites are top tier artists !..
Welcome to Lovebites! They’re highly polished professionals and they mean business. Their new bassist auditions are over so they should be announcing soon when they come out of hiatus.
Did they happen to document the audition process with video? 😃
Oh wow, great info thank you! 👏👏👏
(Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz".

You jumped in the deep end! Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out:
“Don’t Bite the Dust” th-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/w-d-xo.html, from the same concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: th-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/w-d-xo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: th-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/w-d-xo.html;
“Holy War”: th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html
Miyako is also a professional-level concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” th-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/w-d-xo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:
"Shadowmaker" th-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/w-d-xo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world
"When Destinies Align" th-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/w-d-xo.html
"Glory to the World" th-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/w-d-xo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" th-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/w-d-xo.html.
You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Thanks for the great info! 👏👏👏
@@zainalabidinramli762 wow, cool info, thanks!

One music critic said that two guitarists of this level (Midori and Miyako) in the same band is a crime!😊
🐺Asami started with R&B and soul music .
Your so funny to watch. Your like a kid in a candy shop. I agree, this band rocks.
Hahaha I am 😄
Great reaction. if you want to see another great solo by them well they are all great in my opinion. listen to winds of Transylvania, shadowmaker Rising The Crusade and scream for me.
Great comment Alex! 👏👏👏😊

Wow impressionnant
One thing I can't understand is how some people refer to Lovebites as "power metal", and that's simply because as a TRUE Metal-er I know that ORIGINALLY there were only 6 TRUE subcategories of Heavy Metal:
1 - Heavy Metal;
2 - Punk Metal;
3 - Speed Metal;
4 - Thrash Metal;
5 - Death Metal;
6 - Black Metal.

LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics:
The blue moon colors the blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and a fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell
Distorted madness is sneering
Incompetent, cowardly fools
A pitiful and painful punishment
It’s you who will be sacrificed
ON FIRE
Dressed in an armor of steel
ON FIRE
If I’m burned again and again
I’ll rise up from the Gates of Hell
The blue moon colors blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell

FYI ,LOVEBITES get BEST METAL NEW BAND in METAL HAMMER AWARD 2018 in Europe.just my sugest, next react to SWAN SONG or A FROZEN SERENADE ,in that song MIyako (dean guitar) also play the masterpiece piano.. literally they have more 50 premium songs and they never failed with they are arrange songs.
They are at least the equal to every metal band I have ever heard since 1971 (when I was 11 and heard Zeppelin). Best guitar duo I have ever heard. The bass player is gone (original founder) and Lovebites 2.0 is about to kick off with a yet announced new bassist.
Damn...Lovebites...soo Good 🔥🔥🔥🤘🐺
Looking like puppets but punching like heavyweights. Awesome skills and really interesting musical stuff going on. The singer surprised me the most because she is so small but her voice is really trained and powerful, she doesn´t need to fake it through post production. Great stuff! The band name is really cool too in many ways ❤🩹😈
You're wearing a Nightwish shirt. It means you have an ear for this kind of metal.😊😊😊
Hahaha you caught that 😄👏👏👏🫶
Great, thanks
It’s not exactly my brand, but great musician’s, and a pretty kick ass singer!
Do you prefer metalcore or something softer?

You must see and react the other song of this band..like WINDS OF TRANSYLVANIA..or chopin Etude+Swan song... please
First; Next Lovebites - "Swan Song + Chopin Etude"
There are 200+ rock/metal bands in Japan with about half all female, and most of the other with 1 or 2 females. The #1 Band is Band Maid, who will be touring the US in October, 13 cities mostly sold-out. Nemophila fairly new, played the Whiskey A Go Go 1 July, sellout. So some suggestions;
Band Maid - "Freedom" live, "No God" live full up or Acoustic
Nemophila - "Monsters", "A Ray of Light"
And just for fun - Hanabie - "We Love Sweets" some college girls.
While the links to these performances have already been posted in previous comments, there can be no harm in posting them once again here:

Lovebites is a fantastic band! Unfortunately bassist Miho, founder, left the band to dedicate herself to her personal life. Everyone cheers for her. I hope that, even so, the Lovebites have a long career. Please more reacts with Lovebites! Many fell in love with the band and went back to listening to heavy metal - I'm one of them, I confess. I haven't heard anything since the vinyl days. Congratulations on the reaction! It was authentic and thrilling. 🎸🎸🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘

Try my favorite Lovebites song: "Raise Some Hell" from Five of a Kind 21/02/2020. Actually, you can't go wrong with any Lovebites song. I just prefer live, for obvious reasons.
you should do swan song with the chopin intro it’s mind blowing you’ll love it
Awesome!! Lovebites are amazing, but im biased so you will have to see for yourself!! 🤘🐺🤘
After you do Break the Wall next, i suggest you one of their ballads, A Frozen Serenade - th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html
This band has fantastic song writing in addition to their phenomenal technical skills!! Enjoy!!
Sounds good to me! 😃
I’m a huge fan of music from the UK. You’ve probably seen my “Bowie’s Hidden Gems” videos on the channel. If not you should check them out.
I have to look for it. Have not seen it. When did you do it?
I just searched your channel and you haven't done any Band-Maid or Nemophila yet!?!? You got some work ahead of you my friend.

Hahaha yes, I did a reaction to the Wagakki Band too. 😊
@@StrateleStudios Good, WB is a great band too. BTW, the best point of the bassist of Lovebites is that she keeps tightly tie with the drummer. She never leaves the drummer for having her own fun. Hence they make the perfect rhythm section for the band.
the next song should be Lovebites Holy War th-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/w-d-xo.html Welcome to the Wolfpack today you have been Lovebitten
I’ve got “Break The Wall” coming next on Sept 11!

Thanks, Jeff. Love to see the ladies rocking out! Band Maid is a similar all-female band worth checking out. th-cam.com/video/BWN6iOFjm9U/w-d-xo.html
You did not analyze
'Thursdays Child'.
@@StrateleStudios I live in Finland.

There is something wrong when you nearly ever see a smile on the musicians 😑😐🇧🇻
There's plenty of videos of them smiling dancing & caring on.

“We’re not here to be cute, we’re here to play heavy metal.” ~ Lovebites Quote
This is Metal, they ain't no Pop band dude.
There are a lot of heavy metal bands whose members never smile.
Found Lovebites fun new and fresh and exiting for nearly a month last year. Now i cant stand them. All skill and no real feel for the Music imo 😑🇧🇻
So why are you here 🤡..?..
Your just plain wrong ! Nobody writes, practices & plays if they have no feel for the music !
Apparently some people love being a contrarian, no matter how foolish it makes them appear
Then maybe you should look for a band with no professional skills at all? So that they could not play musical instruments at all and could not sing 🤣 I think you will enjoy it then.
douche. dick move for upvoting yourself.
