She tours churches in the US. She was in Sourh Carolina in 2019 I think or another church in the South, invite her she might come... She had cancer and attributes her healing to God.

I love listening to Sohyang singing. She is a cancer survivor and devoted Christian. Before she sing in singing competition, she will pray and let God lead her from there. I only like this version Amazing Grace from Sohyang because I can feel the spirit of God in her when she sing. Just like the song she sang "I can only imagine" MV.

My man, you did right in this reaction video. Yes, you know Sohyang was singing before God. You could see how she took comfort in the aura of bliss at the end of the song. Sohyang told us about the song earlier in the performance - How sweet the sound.

So hyang and if you know Ailee both koreans are great vocalists....So hyang and charice of PH did a duet but it was more of a vocal battle....I would like it if she would collab with katrina....koreans and filipinos have symbiotic relationship.....a lot of south koreans like coming in ph as tourists or permanent residents and vice versa. When it comes to music koreans and filipinos are among the top in asia.

I had a whole list of recommendations but after watching your heartfelt reaction, I will only recommend “Everyone” a gospel classic and widely regarded as her hardest vocal performance. Btw She was also diagnosed with cancer in her early twenties but managed to survive it and has since dedicated her life to God with her voice as her ministry. Unfortunately she lost her ability to give birth coz of that cancer and suffers from frequent health issues. But she has managed to brave through the last 2 decades using her voice to comfort others as that’s what she believes is her calling.
Her single minded dedication led to her turning away from the commercial mainstream music industry as she had repeatedly turned down labels both local and international ones and still remains an independent artist doing things the way she wants to and sing songs that align with her convictions.
Her humility and dedication has led her to master her vocals to the extent where she is now placed alongside the likes of Mariah and Whitney, by fellow artists, vocal enthusiasts, professionals and fans across the world.
Despite her lack of self promotion with zero social media presence, her occasional TV performances and random fancam videos have earned her a very strong internet following and she’s currently one of the, if not the top most reacted vocalist in all of youtube.
A true inspiration both as a person and as an artist, whose dedication has led her to the very pinnacle of her craft.
She’s also an author and a music professor, and does her song arrangements herself. Many of her popular renditions of Classics have earned the recognition of their original artists / composers who’ve ended up performing together with her. So far she has performed with the likes of David Foster, Kirk Franklin, Josh Groaban, Brian Mcknight and Michael Bolton who even went to the extent of calling her a Virtuoso.
