That is so cool. I had a zen garden in my house at one one point but I don't remember what happened to it. I think it was my little sister's zen garden, I wouldn't be surprised if it was her's because she has generalized anxiety. If I can get the materials I can totally make her one plus the mini one for myself😊 And since the stuff is from the dollar store it's cheap. Seriously thought as a college student I'm always happy to find cheap stuff, especially for projects.
My granddaughter has made some of the crafts. She's 16 now. She watched before she was 13 but her mom supervised. We watched together when I stayed with her & her sister.
Just a heads-up regarding building cairns: don't do it in rivers! Don't take the rocks and stack them up, it's very important they remain where they are so the fish and invertebrates that live in the water have places to hide and lay their eggs! Rocks are important for a river's ecosystem!
