Betamax From The Past: "CIGEULIS-CIMANGGU LAND ROVER LOVERS FAMILY TOUR & OFFROAD 1991"

January 4-6, 1991
Group of land rover enthusiasts went for a family tour to Carita, Banten. They were staying at Desiana Cottage, located in the same regency (Pandeglang) with Cigeulis, where previously Land Rover Club Indonesia held offroad event back in February 1990.
During the 3 days of stay in Carita, They went for a one day trip retracking Cigeulis route on January 6, 1991, fulfilling the route that didn't finished during the event.
The family members, mostly womens and kids were staying at the cottage and having their leisure time. Meanwhile the Fathers and the mens were going offroad with the land rovers.
The route was: Carita, Cigeulis, Tugu-Cimanggu, and back to Carita.

Glad you enjoyed it my friend..same to me.. really love the old classic land rover during their time of action in the past..thats why i backed up my dad's old tapes and uploaded here..so we can enjoy and having a nostalgic feeling on those good old days..greetings from indonesia..

My 1966 S2A is coming along a little at a time. It should probably have a proper restoration, but I like driving it too much. Many are being bought up and over restored. It has too much character to be made into a shinny trophy truck. The original chassis is rust free and it runs good so it is a work in progress. Here in California they are very rare. I know of only 3 others within 100 miles. It really draws attention and people love to come up and ask about it.

Yes it’s very different. There are a lot of built up Jeeps here in California. We have a 2018 Jeep ourselves and love it as well, but the Land Rover is unique.

Sekedar info..Tahun 1991 landrover2 yg ada di video itu tipe yg termasuk sudah tua..harganya agak miring dan saat itu ga ada peminatnya..krn sudah ada defender yg generasi lebih barunya.. barulah skrg2 harganya jadi melejit naik ga karuan yg tuanya entah kenapa..
