Manfredy is very underrated.
Best fight of all time. Most AWESOME display of pure boxing skill by Angel. Will never be matched. Absolutely PERFECT. So light on his feet. Crazy badass footwork

I was there! It was a clinic by Angel. Not surprising, Gatti fought back hard after getting decked by Angel. That cut was gross! I drove down from NW, Indiana with a boxer friend of mine..What a fun weekend!! We sat with Angel's group for a bit the day before the fight and Gatti's camp was there too and there was some jawing back n forth!! After fight party was awesome as well!!
Manfreddy fought a great fight here you have to remember this was a peak gatti not same gatti who fought mayweather

I was there !! January 1998 I believe. Drive down with a boxer buddy of mine from NW, Indiana! Got in a picture with Angel at the post fight party. I had a winning ticket on Angel to win taped on my shirt that my buddy had sent me from Vegas! Great fight and awesome weekend !

Arturo Gatti was my favorite fighter of all time and I remember this loss was pretty hard to digest when it happened.
Gatti style is such classic boxing. Hit you in the body then opponent throws to body Then boom left hook to head ……Foreman so funny he repeats what bothers him over and over

I've never seen a fighter with more heart than Gatti, but that cut was too bad to continue. Manfredy fought a great fight against a legend.
I remember when I saw Arturo Gatti angel manfreddy when he lost I meet him in the elevator we talking and shit that was the last time I saw Gatti and Michael Grant also fought that same night and this happened in the balley we traveled all the way from 34 street boom boom Johnson was there earnie shavers it sad that Gatti died.

I've realized that Gatti was a lot like the Tony Ferguson of boxing. They both had subpar defense but were able to get by through toughness, a good chin and overwhelming offense, which made them both incredibly exciting to watch.
True. I do believe people aren't giving Toney a chance anymore. The man lost 3 in a row. Gatti lost 3 and came back better then ever. I believe Toney too can come back better than ever
@@tryingtoboxduegatti8940 I'd beg to differ. Tony just hasn't looked the same during that Gaethje beating and on top of that I don't see him refining his technique to be able to beat anyone that way because he was never a cerebral fighter.

Look at Nate Diaz, he isn't a technical fighter compared to Toney, however he is tough as hell and he is still going strong despite losing 13 fights, it's the same with Cowboy. I believe Toney is better then Nate and Cowboy. I can see him coming back. I think Tony's Vs Nate will be a great fight and a good match up for both guys in their careers. What do you think about that match up.

Gatti was asking to be hit,kept on taunting Manfredy to hit him....Well he did with a nice left hook and knocked his ass down....lmao........Every fight I see Gotti in he gets lit up...But man what a ❤ and a sense of will.... Regardless if he gets his head caved in he comes back for more....Manfredy wow,always loved the chap....Sweet left hook and a to die for counter jab....

It's a fight which Micky won during his comeback and it was meant to be a dramatic fight where Micky was getting destroyed and came back in the late rounds to win with his left hook!

@@jayx6314 I was for Angel he just got nailed but Ref should let it go a little longer in a fight like that I think he had a good shot beating him I couldn’t believe it stopped that early..And Manfreddy said he was ok only he knows but it was a championship fight leave no doubt let it go on til it’s over without a doubt
@@chrisslaughter5552 manfredy and corrales were two of my favourites when I was a kid.Manfredy was one of the first time I seen Someone double up lead uppercuts and hook off the uppercuts.And Mayweather stopped them both.but did you notice he hurt his hand and only used his left the last couple rounds
