Just got my heart broken about an hour ago and have been crying since then. So I decided to watch this cause I figured if I can't be happy for myself, I can at least try to be happy for others.
I'm still crying, but I've also calmed down a little now. Thanks for the video :)
For anyone seeing this in the future: I'm happy to report that I'm doing much better now!
Turns out this guy I was so blindly in love with was actually a bit of a jerk. I'd been feeling more and more anxious while I was together with him and thought being with him was the one thing that would calm my anxiety, so I became very dependent on him over time.
After he broke my heart (via a Discord group chat message lol, says a lot about his character), I just decided to stop trying. He made no effort to reach out to me, even though he always claimed to love me and want to spend all his time with me, so I guess he didn't really care all that much after all.
And you know what? All that anxiety I felt just melted away like ice cream on a hot summer day! He was the source of my anxiety all along and I was too blind to see it.
Am I still upset about what he did? Yeah, he completely broke my trust, lied to my face many times and didn't even have the decency to communicate his feelings with me. It's gonna take some time for me to get over that, but we'll get there.
But MAN am I happy I broke out of this toxic cycle I was in.
What I've learned from this:
Don't waste your time on people who clearly don't care about you. It's not worth it and it's only gonna make you sad. We all deserve better than that.
Oh and also don't just ignore blatant red flags lol. There were so many and I just thought ''welp, surely he's not actually like that!''
I'm so sorry to hear that!! I'm glad you calmed down a bit, and I'm sure you'll find a way to be happy again for yourself! I don't know you, but I think best thing to do in these situations is to do things that make you happy, like hanging out with friends, pursue some hobbies, etc. Just know that you are a great person and that life goes on!!😄😄🤗🤗 Are you better now (I didn't answer immediately ig)?😄😄😄

I feel much better after sleeping on it. Right now I feel more angry than sad that I wasted so much of my time on this clown. For some reason it took all of this for me to realize I was being taken advantage of and taken for granted. I still feel hurt and betrayed, but this also made me realize the kind of person he truly is and that I deserve much better than him.
Just put up the Christmas tree and had some hot chocolate, which always puts me in a good mood.
All in all, it's going to take some time for me to process all of this, but I'm going to be alright in the end.

I decorated my house for Christmas too, I just love December 😄😄😄🤩🎅🎅🧑🎄🤶🌲🌲 and I'll probably go make some biscuits too!😋🍪🍪 Pancakes with Nutella on top are simply the best food on the universe in my opinion!😄😍😍🥞🥞(also, they're easy to make and you just don't need many ingredients)😄😄😄🤩

Thanks for the uplifting video. In 2017, I was taking care of a feral cat outside and I was supposed to go to my in-laws (ugh!) for Christmas. I said, "I'm not leaving this cat for 6 days". Long story short, my Alex, RIP little man (2021, gone too soon😢 ) came into the house that day, visits to vet and neutering, and got to stay in a nice warm, safe cat boarding facility while we were gone. I had been trying to convince my husband (for a year!) to let me bring him inside. I can't believe he did something nice for me.
I'm so sorry about your relationship. Seriously? If he hasn't continued to make "baby steps" in being nice every day, you need lots of loving care from somewhere else. You're totally worth it.

I love the puppy clip! I sometimes don’t understand how a dog can be “too friendly” but oh well at least then they get to go to loving homes and get lots and lots of lovings
Too friendly for a police dog. He probably wouldn’t chase, bite, take down the criminal, instead just lick him lol. Rejected police dogs get adopted really fast. They’ve been trained, genealogy tracked, usually ‘top breeds’, etc.
@@Hortonheardahoe ohhhh!!!! That makes sense ty!!!! I’m glad they get adopted out fast but it sucks that other dogs don’t get adopted as fast :(
If they kept a few that were to friendly to be a police dogs then they (the dogs) can just track them (a victim) down and comfort them if they are to traumatized to be around people yet, like, human trafficking victims it would probably be easier on them to have a dog there with them for the first bit.
@@adinameadows7959 those are therapy dogs. I think they go under different trainings. Though, there isn’t a rule that reject police dogs in training can’t be therapy dogs but I’m sure they have to also go through special classes as well.
I worked at a college where the caretaker had a lovely German shepherd that had been rejected by the police for the same reason. She made an excellent security dog though because she really looked the part.

Exactly what I needed today, struggling to believe in any good in human nature after the last 2.5 years of my life. On the road to connecting to the good nature in most people again. How kind and loving of the brother to help his sister and her wife have a child. I really enjoyed all the clips, but these four touched my heart.
It is a very powerful video, but all you recognized in your comment were the lgbtq parts and none of the rly heartwarming ones like the girl who beat cancer, i just find it a little odd.
@@LuxexAuti it’s opinion, as a queer person stories that resonate with you are more likely to stick with you. Doesn’t mean the others aren’t heartwarming, it’s just more difficult to relate to things when you don’t have experience with those things. All of the pics in this video were lovely, I agree with the commenter about those being my favorites, plus the person with PTSD and the one recovering from an attempt. Just because those are the ones I can relate to, not because they’re any more important than the others.

The very first one brought tears to my eyes. My best friend when I was growing up had polio, and by the time he was 12 had had 14 operations on his legs and hips. He could walk pretty well, but certainly not run. I moved away. I've always wondered how he did afterward. Thank God (well, actually, thank modern medicine) for the vaccines that stopped polio in its tracks.

Loved to see what all these people did, but my heart goes to the ones with cancer. Young guy who has a second chance, and a very brave baby! I went through the same stages as that girl, and at the same time. When the weather allowed, I went everywhere with my bald head, very proudly. I can't say I look like her, though, because I'm 60.
Oh, and I sleep like that guy but not with two cats. In my case it's a mini schnauzer who is convinced she's a baby.

You can say one person is less judgemental than another one, but not make the comparison between animals and people, it's not their nature to judge and it's their instinct to be grateful towards whoever feeds, pets them, etc. A partner is someone who actually chose to be with you when they could be anywhere else, who chooses to go back to their home when they could not.
That doesn't mean I don't like animals, I love my dog but there's no way in hell he'd be a bigger priority than my daughter, my mom or my partner, if I had one.

I got asked for ID to prove I am over 18 last week, they literally wouldn't take my word for it and I had to go and get my ID...I'm in my 40's. Some people just look younger than they are.
