It's always a pleasure to see the wonderful Sarah Paulson. It makes everything alright when it's not. I was feeling kinda lousy until I saw this video. She's so healing. Because of her, even the bad times are good. The sun will always come out tomorrow. 💕💕💕💕
She is such an amazing actress. When I saw her in the Firefly movie, later Deadwood...I always felt she was under-utilized. I am so glad she managed to work her way upwards, in American Crime Story she was absolutely spell-binding and I think people underestimate how difficult that part was.
That's true, she was in Deadwood! I had to look it up on IMDB because I completely forgot about that. Pretty IMDB is run by men because they don't even list her in the top cast of the first episode she was in. With them being so vague, I had to rewatch part of her first episode (A Lie Agreed Upon p.1) to remember which part she played.. That reminded me of how I loved the serie 20 years ago. I rewatched the 1st episode and, to me, it stood the test of time. So, because of you, I started rewatching a serie that I loved. Thank you!
@@lecture42 She isn't listed? That's ridiculous! Yeah, she of course plays the Pinkerton agent posing as a nanny and teacher; the cold and calculating 'Ms. Isringhausen'! (sp). All in all she was pretty pivotal in moving the plot forward to make Al Swearengen and Sheriff Bullock the unlikeliest of allies. And it is a gorgeous series to revisit every so often, its dialogue is still unique to anything else out there. Not seen before or since and is genuinely Shakespearian. Now I just may have to re-watch it again myself!
@@J.M.-nb4gw Yeah, a really small part though. You remember the scene where they get the transmission from the planet the Alliance experimented on and created the reavers? The scientist sending a distress message, explaining what the Alliance was up to down there and how it backfired horribly? Before meeting a horrible fate off-camera? That was her. A small part, but that is the first thing I recall seeing her in.
What a brave mom, she set the stage -no pun intended, for her daughter to pursue opportunities, and look at SP now! An incredible actress celebrated for her brilliance ❤
Sarah has been absolutely the best in every role she's played. She is also delightfully refreshing as a talk show guest. She is the kind of person that you pray to be seated next to at a dinner party. Not that I expect we will ever wind up at the same dinner party 😢
Counterpoint: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Most of that was Sorkin's fault, but I thought she was unbearable. She pretty much rocks in everything else though.
It's hard to imagine this cheerful and bubbly Sarah Paulson played the horrible Mary Epps, the plantation-owner's wife, in "12 Years A Slave". When they were filming, she was having "Patsey" whipped -- and afterwards, she and Lupita Nyongo, the actress who played Patsey, would go shopping together!
Wish I was in ny so i could see her show. I follow her now after becoming obsessed with her best friend, pedro pascal, and she is just as delightful and funny.
"We're not allowing ourselves to celebrate" yes Hollywood actors, they're just like us Especially when she's been self-deprecating like this for like 15 years; watch her old interviews. Only progress that's happened is it's no longer 'me' but 'we'
I was about to do the "Her name is Sarah Paulson" thing and looks like a bunch of people beat me to the punch. But I'll do it anyway! Her name is Sarah Paulson Her name is Sarah Paulson Her name is Sarah Paulson
Wait! She tells a story of her mom moving to New York City!!! with two small children and working at a restaurant. How many food working adults w/o kids would need to share an apartment to afford it??!!
No other professional/job is so acutely fragile in self esteem and the need for acknowledgement as the entertainment industry. I like Sarah Paulson, but she is what is wrong with the industry. Enjoy your award. Now let’s see an award for best garbage pickup, best response to a CODE BLUE, best teacher, best care of the dying, best secretary, best in every other job that actually keeps the country running day in and day out.
"I couldn't spell Parmezsjhjaaarn". I wouldn't know how to spell that either. I can spell Parmesan and Parmigiano Reggiano (The English and Italian spellings of that cheese) but Parmajjzzjjjaaarrrnnnn ? No idea.
I hate that she hesitated about the 'college' convo. Do a trade, do something for a little bit then go to college. College really propagates fraternity/sorority nepotism, unless you're an academic smart cookie. If you're gonna spend the money on college, go with a goal. Do not do the boomer mentality of finding yourself at college.
Sarah is a fantastic actress, witty, sweet, such a GEM 💎
I love her. She deserves every award.
My exact thoughts
Fake imaginary awards

Wow I didn't realize she was in the movie Serenity based on the Firefly series, it's been years since I saw that and now I have to watch it again!

Youth! Love it. Fleeting - but it and the memories of it gives us joy even in later years.
This should be a mini series. I love it!!!❤

That's intense.
I love, LOVE her in All of the Horror genres, including AHS.

I liked her in Studio 60 in Sunset Strip.
She and her wife are the cutest couple. 💕💞💓💗🩷💘💝💖
Her wife looks like her mother. The great Holland Taylor.
They’re not actually married.

I want to know if season 2 of Ratched on Netflix. I've been waiting so long for it.

Why is she so happy??
It's the Pax. The G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate that we added to the air processors.
Wait! She tells a story of her mom moving to New York City!!! with two small children and working at a restaurant. How many food working adults w/o kids would need to share an apartment to afford it??!!
Never not loved her in anything.
I think she should go to PBS and ask to be on Whi Do You Think You Are because I'd swear she's related to Emily Blunt.
Haha with her hair like that, she reminded me of Leisha Hailey
She's funny
Sarah
I keep getting Sarah Paulson mixed up with Emily Blunt. 🤷
I think their accents might be slightly different? Maybe idk?
She's American Emily Blunt
I don't even know who she is!
As long as Americans call Parmesan parmajohn, a lot will quit their jobs.
I don't remember. I just made the imagination up. It's just a coincidence that he seemed to try to sleep back to host me again. It was odd!
Sarah likes the older older ladies.
Her name..is Sarah Paulson
No Slash interview?😢
Her mom is younger than her wife. Not hating just facts

Who?
DISGUSTING
I love her in anything but this interview is so shallow and scripted. It's a celebrity gush fest.
Macaulay Culkin transitioned. He looks good!
Get bent
Amazing that Colbert is still on TV. Being a regular at Epstien Island these days with the Biden administration is a get out of jail card
