Well netflix is making a prequel called black summer, it comes out in april I think. but by the trailer it looks like every other zombie show, like all serious with no comedy, cant help but feel disappointed.
this was getting bashed on so hard when the show first came out, being compared to the walking dead. In reality it was ALWAYS in its league of its own and fun as hell to watch. something the walking dead has never done was creativity and uniqueness. walking dead always played safe and killed off their characters ONLY when there was no character development left. that's why no one cares when they die or when the show will die xD

Hey don't get me wrong I love this show too and hope they can be the first show to break the curse of the SyFy channel, but that doesn't change the fact that SyFy has a pretty well established pattern for how they handle their original scripted shows. If the shows a flop from the get go it gets one season, if it's mediocre to average it gets two to three seasons, if it's a smash hit and beloved by fans it gets four or five seasons before being axed. SyFy doesn't seem to care how popular a show is with fans, if they did they wouldn't have canceled, to name a few, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Being Human, Sanctuary, and most recently Dark Matter, and Kill Joys (though they were nice enough to give this show two finale 10-episode seasons to wrap up). The SyFy channel is like a little kid it gets a new shiny toy, plays with it a handful of times, gets bored with it, then tosses it aside when a newer shinier toy comes along.

I tried to get the whole series on Bluray and was told they didn't make the show in 1080p. Now I see at least the first series is in some sort of HD. I will probably buy and download them this year.
Why was this show not promoted as much as walking dead? Walking was on TV in most country i just saw this on netflix last week and preferred so much more than WD. I didnt even go past the third season of WD yet Znation binge watch the whole series in a week lol. I just couldnt stop. All of them fit in their roles so well. Their relationships do bring the characters to life and make the audience falls inlove with them like for me my fav are Doc, CZ, 10k and murphy😊💜
