Those teammates are radom, who don't care about you, they all land on different locations and then they also expect someone to pick their tags too? Whats the purpose of playing with squad when you decide to land on different locations? Squad means stay together, fight together and die together, yesterday i played with randoms, i was jump leader and they unfollowed me and landed on different locations, i stuck between three squads and managed to kill 2 squads, during the fight my random teammates pass by me on a car and they didn't even jumped to join the fight, and later they died on a different location and i simply didn't get their tags because they unfollowed me landed on different locations and they didn't joined me, didn't helped me when i was surrounded by enemies and was fighting with enemies, the end point is if you don't know how to play with the squad then its better to play solo mode or even if you play with the squad and don't stay with the squad then you should not expect your teammates to get your tag,

It's probably a setting issue. There's a setting that will move it back and you have to turn it on/off for it to stay where you move it.
it is in basic setting, i dont remember but something like vertical sensitivity or idk
