I was waiting for the Burberry powder review! I like how it has the blurring effect. I wasn’t sure what the darker powder around the white powder would do combined. It looks promising along with the Hourglass lip pencils. Thanks for reviewing these new products so quickly!! 😊🌺
The Burberry blurring powder looks beautiful on your skin Lexi and the he Berry Pop trio from ND has had me on pins and needles. It’s gorgeous! Thank you for all the demos, swatches and comparisons!!
Hi Lexi, love it when everything works and gets your stamp of approval. The ND face palette is sooooo pretty and kind of caught me off guard in a good way bc I also wasn't sure from the images. It's a showstopper for sure and looks gorgeous on you!! ✨💫
I love the My Dream cheek trio, and I was wondering about this one. I love it on you, but I think it’s too pink for my olive tones. I need a more purple berry. The formulas for these cheek trips are great! I am definitely trying the Hourglass lip liners. Goes on creamy but sets and lasts…yes please!!! That sounds like a perfect formula! Their shade range is surprisingly small, so I hope they expand it, too!! The nudes are all very warm.
That powder is gorgeous. From the looks of it, it seems there are a lot of products that Burberry is getting ready to release. The highlighters look beautiful
Hi Lexi! Thanks for demoing the new Burberry powder, the new ND Berry Pop cheek trio and the new Hourglass lip pencils. I had never thought about it but I agree with your educated opinion that there are very few brands that have both great eye pencils and lip pencils. This review is a great endorsement for Hourglass’ eye and lip pencils - neither of which I have ever tried. The new Natasha Denona Berry Pop trio is very pretty - I appreciate all the comparisons. (I am curious about one additional comparison: with the new Chanel lip and cheek tints in Brick and Purple Energy, both of which looked great on you). Thank you for another fantastic set of demos, comparisons and first impressions. PS: LOVE your eye look in this video - I am now quite tempted to pick up that Prada eyeshadow in spite of the off-putting yellow.
Good call on the Chanel! I will add some swatches to the community tab this weekend. I am working on a Prada update now in preparation for their launch at Sephora. I absolutely love their eyeshadows!
Thank you for saving me money, Lexi!! I considering the ND cheek trio but I have Nars Exhibit A if I want a true red blush and the highlighter is, as usual with ND, too dark and gold for me. I especially appreciate the TF Peachlight comparison as that's a great shade for me. I'm on a lip product no-buy right now so as much as I like the ND lipstick, I have a few dupes in my collection.
Lexi your skin and makeup is gorgeous today. I love your eye look with the violet mascara. Your skin looks flawless and doll-like in a natural way. The blush application is perfect.
It was interesting seeing you show the Pat McGrath powder. I like that one and I use it for travel. For day to day my go-to is the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Under Eye Powder. I have been using that one for about ten years and it is perfect for my needs. I prefer loose powder for setting my makep in general. For under the eyes, I use a Beauty Blender Mini which is just a bit bigger than the tip of a finger. I press the sponge into the loose powder, then push it into the skin under my eyes. When I finish doing my eyeshadow, I will brush away any excess powder. Its kind of the same technique you were showing using your finger, Lexi. If I don't put enough powder under my eyes, the mascara from my upper lashes will definitely smudge onto my skin below. The only way that wouldn't happen is if I decided not to use skincare under my makeup. Also I do not intentionally "bake" with extra powder on my face to make demarkations of lighter and darker areas of the face. All of that heavy contouring, etc is not for me. I see thar you don't do that stuff either.
Thanks for the review! I know I was eyeing the blush, but trying to stick to my lo-buy! Love your nail color! I looked in the description box, but didn't see it listed. Everything looks great...so far holding to my resolve..🙃
Thank you! The nails are Starrily Northern Lights Simulator. I think the blush trio will probably be around for a little while so maybe you can catch it on sale in the future.
The goldfish brush is the one I constantly grab for loose powder. Such a soft brush for light application. ND has had my favourite releases lately. I need a nude palette & the latest mini dream shadows & blush. Everyday fabulousness.
Lexi is there any way you can post the ingredients list for Burberry powder🙏? Super interested but also super sensitive to certain ingredients and cannot find list on any websites that it is sold. I would prefer no talc but Oryza Rice Sativa starch is what really breaks me out. But it looks sooo gorgeous 😍
Hi dear Lexi, loved the video, thanks!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Burberry makeup is out of my reach here in NL/EU, but super beautiful powder, and loved the comparisons!!! Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
@@LexiJong he is stable, although it can come back, and than new meds needed, but so far so good, thank you!!! I watched the other video the next one, but hard to comment while in a video, TH-cam is not working here as it should, sorry dear Lexi!
I❤ your shadow look hun! Tou could wear that as a night out look as well. Please find out about the bew Burberry eyeshadow palettes. So happy I picked up the new ND palette! Ty❤❤
Lexi, I was hoping you would compare the Burberry powder to the Sisley blur powder ( orchid embossed). I have seen you use that one often and rave about it.
I purchased the burberry compact powder medium when it came back in stock at selfridges. I may end up picking the CDp one as well as I can definitely see the difference between those two.
These are very lovely and very tempting but I’m going to be able to pass. Of course I don’t need them. Thank you for your very thorough reviews. Your comparison and application details are excellent.
I’m definitely very interested in the ND, whole berry collection. I do have the Patrick Ta Berry blush, and the Gucci, haha, but I think I’m gonna pull the trigger anyways! Watching you use the Sonia g base collection to Apple, I really hope that whole face set comes back. I *only* bought 1 set, and they just apply so many liquids and creams amazingly.
The Burberry Blurring Powder looks beautiful, but I have the Chanticaille and also one from Florasis (Peach something) that are both amazing. I use my Charlotte Tilbury (the one in the white compact) or the PML or the Westman Atelier (I have the Crème and the Pink) for under my eyes, and you just reminded me I have the Koh Gen Do too, so I feel like I am set. So hard to keep collecting these items I know I will never finish in a lifetime. MABLE (Makeup Accrual Beyond Life Expectancy). Not sure you’re going to show this, but I’d be interested to see it compared to the Sisley (not the one you showed, the one in the square compact).
Lol - love the MABLE acronym! I thought about comparing it with the Sisley but the purpose is different so in my mind, I just kind of skipped over that one but I will compare them when I revisit it. The biggest difference is that the Burberry is more of a traditional setting powder instead of what is essentially a powder primer. The Sisley is more firm and really benefits from being buffed in while the Burberry is noticeable with a lighter application method but it is intended for use over foundation. I'll compare them both under and over for the revisit though!
The Burberry powder looks great but I also have Chantecaille powder and need to pull it back out& use it instead of spending money on a new palette. New stuff is tempting because I’m always looking for an improved version.
Thank you! I thought it was going to show up at Sephora but now that it is past the launch date and still not there, I'm not sure. I hope so though! It is at Beautylish already.
Thank you Lexi ! I just ordered the ND palette through your beautylish link and I was wondering what you think about the Burberry blurring powder I wear Hermes plein air in Sahara Would you get the fair or medium in the Burberry ? Thanks 🙏
Thank you Lexi for sharing How does this powder compares to chantecaille recent pink powder and Sisley blurr powder you are using as primer ? Does it worth it picking it up over those two ? Please advise as I am looking for a blurr powder to buy ❤
I think they are all different because the Sisley is best under foundation and buffed in. The Chantecaille is best over foundation but buffed in and it has some shimmer. The Burberry is more of a traditional setting powder and has a matte finish. I think they are all worth having if they fit your aesthetic but I still think the Sisley makes the biggest difference so if I had to choose one, that would be it.
Wow. That Burberry has me all like. I want it. I am looking for a great blurring powder (which one do you think is best of all?) also the ND IS SOOO PRETTY
Hi Lexi, I saw the Burberry powder is available in Australia. 🙂 We only have 4 shades: Fair, Medium, Medium deep and Deep. I have light skin tone and I’m not sure what shade is good for me. I have the Sisley Phyto Poudre Compact in Natural which is a good shade for me. Also I have the Sisley loose powder in Matte and is too dark even in summer time. Is interesting that Burberry doesn’t have Light and after Fair is Medium. Did you see how dark is the medium shade? And do you think this powder is good for dry skin? Thanks for sharing!🙂
Hi! We have the same shades here. I think the medium looks significantly darker than the light so it is probably a good shade for you. If you were to get the medium, you would probably have to be sure to mix in more of the white to get the right shade but at least that is an option. I think this powder is good for those who have moderately dry skin but not very dry skin. I think a fluffy brush with this powder would work well for those with dry skin.
Hi Lexi. Glad you got your hands on the Burberry and were able to accept delivery. 😄 I’m wondering how this compares to the Chantecaille perfect blur powder. I apologize if you already answered and I missed it. How is the blur and wear and how drying are they in comparison?
I think the Chantecaille perfect blur is best buffed into the skin. The holiday one has some shimmer/glow while the one in the permanent line does not. I think the Burberry does a better job with a light dusting while the Chantecaille really benefits from buffing it in as it is a bit firmer. I feel like buffing it in with the burberry is a bit too much product so it can look a bit dry that way on my skin. The blur is pretty comparable though. Overall, depending on application methods, their dryness is comparable.
@@LexiJong You were right! The medium shade is good for me because when you blend both colours is the perfect shade. Very useful info about the Chantecaille powder! Also I have the Hermes translucent powder and is a bit dry when I apply with Sonia G buffer pro. Maybe I use the wrong brush? 🤔
